Will you always need this? Probably not. BUT...it might be worth it for purchases that cost at least this much and you plan on keeping the two years. Overall, not a bad price for a piece of mind.

I have never seen a four year plan on a printer. The extra peace of mind is well worth it.

I always buy the 2 year Geek Squad Protection because when the tech breaks, and it will, I do not have to pay to replace them. I only have to pay for a new plan on the new product!

This product came with my laptop. I believe this is a great product because it keeps my laptop safe. If anything happens to my laptop, they have my back.

SIGNED UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP TO HELP ME WITH MY SCANNING ISSUE WITH MY NEW HP PRINTER. THE GUY DID EVERYTHING I HAD ALREADY DONE AND I TOLD HIM THAT I NEEDED TO SCAN FROM MY HP APP. AFTER SITTING THERE FOR AN HOUR HE SAID OH YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HP. HE LOADED A SCAN OPTION ON MY COMPUTER WHICH I HAD BEFORE IT WORKED ONE TIME AND NOW WHEN I TRIED TWO DAYS LATER THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER. I FEEL RIPPED OFF AND MY ISSUE WAS NEVER FIXED. NOW I CAN'T SCAN AND HAVE TO CALL HP IN THE END. I'D REALLY LIKE MY MONEY BACK AS THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Great value, have had them replace a second printer after it failed outside of the manufacturer warranty. Just wish I did not have to buy a new policy each time the printer is replaced.

Bought the GS warranty. My modem/router stopped working, took it back; expecting to be grilled and given the run around... not the case here! It was painless! This warranty is a must have!

Best Buy has had this option for a good number of years. As printers cannot easily be repaired, this is a wonderful option available to buyers.

It's the main reason I buy from best buy. Electronics fail all the time and the geek squad protection is the best.
