The color and speed are much better than the inkjet. However, ink is crazy expensive in comparison, and the paper curls, meaning I have to babysit the printer when printing more than one page, or it jams. I have mixed feelings, but I needed something better for printing labels.

I purchased a Four Year (4) Geek Squad maintenance agreement to protect my new CANON INKJET Printer. The agreement was low cost in my opinion, and I know I will be protected from breakdowns.

I haven’t had an issue they have not solved for me I always get warranty knowing that if it breaks I’ll get a replacement

I think this is a good price for a four year warranty on the scanner. I never had to use a geek squad warranty before so I cannot comment on service/repair. The warranty is about 20% of the cost of the scanner which is high .I added the warranty because the scanner is worth the price and saved me a lot of money not having to use an outside company to scan thousands of photos which is an ongoing project . The scanner also doubles as a paper scanner which is a plus and that means the scanner gets more use. For 25.00 a year it is worth it.

Always good to have this and is not very expensive to have. I have had very seamless experience in past for products i had issues and had geek squad protection.

Listen do yourself the favor and buy a Best buy warranty. When my 55-in Samsung television started acting up they came right over and take a look at it when they didn't have the same model to replace it with the simply a refunded me the money and I was able to go in and put it towards a new set. It was very easy process and I definitely recommend getting it will worth the price.

The printer prints photos great and the plus is the ink lasts awhile.

I always purchase the Geek Squad protection package on all electronics. There are so many moving parts to wear out on a printer, especially if you use it every day or heavy use, that it just makes sense. I have actually used the protection package for a free replacement printer on the last two printers. It is a ease of mind for what amounts to an expensive purchase. I am very happy with the protection package that I purchased for 4 years and I feel the cost is minimal but well worth the peace of mind.

Love this product replacement plan, whenever you buy something and it breaks or you want to get a new one in a couple years, just take it back and get a new one for free, it’s great! If there’s an upgraded model sometimes you could get the upgraded one instead for free. Last time I used this on an item two years after purchase, the item was cheaper then so I ended up getting an upgraded model plus a $50 gift card for the difference...so I always buy this on anything I know I will use for a long time!
