Always good to have protection but the item is great and hasn't needed replacement.

I bought the geek sqaud as everything is the oligarchies chinese junk. The drive only had one option connect to internet. Obvoiusly the oligarchy has to have every app device data mining for them. Thats why i thought i purchased geek sqaud. However they were useless. The lady gave me just 2 options . take to store hundreds if miles away or pay someone to come to put files on my drive. I told her many times i would never pay to have someone put files on a drive and i only needed it installed but she kept saying put files on drive. I also asked if i could just format it get rid of data mining program. She would answer no other questions just the 2 options. So i said i want to return it. While i was waiting for phone transfer i formatted it and was putting files on it by the time next lady got on phone. I of course voiced my frustrations and somewhere along line she hung up on me. Ive put 3 terabytes on drive and it seems to be working great. I may have had a misunderstanding of what my warrenty covered so i leave them with one star. I dont think that lady knew anything more than to upgrade your services. Maybe no technical advice was covered. I sure did not get none. Id still recomend as returns can be a hassle but not sure how good they are at that.

I assume this replacment thing is for a specific item I bought. Maybe my computer. Since I haven't had to use it, I can't really rate it.

This was ok set. It worked good , but it last long. I have already replayed it

It replaced the broken speaker so i guess it was worth it but the fact that you can only use it once somehow feels like a scam

Low quality numbers keys slowlt stopped working after a few months and many didn work at all after 5 months. Second time buying this same keyboard. This happene both times.

I back everything up, just in case. Sprays good to insure things.

Even though the extended warranty starts after the manufacturer warranty, it starts losing value immediately. We purchased a 2 year extended warranty that extended the manufacturer's 1 year warranty on our computer tower. However, when we had the unit serviced under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty due to performance issues, Best Buy "totaled" the tower and gave us a full refund. HOWEVER, when we purchased the new tower, we had to pay EXTRA for the new 2 year extended warranty. Even though we were still within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, Best Buy charged us extra to purchase the extended warranty (on top of our refund for that warranty) because some of the time had lapsed. So, you purchase two extra years which are supposed to start after the manufacturer's warranty, BUT the time starts ticking immediately in regards to to the value of the warranty.

This service can go either way. Often, and especially in store in Portland store, it is very good. Online..not so much.

It’s a pretty deal for 2 years of warranty. It’s a must have if have children or have a lot of get together.

Hope I dont have to use this, but this is my third keyboard in 2 years, so decided for 2 year extended warranty.

This covers two years until you use it. If you use this to replace the item the new item is not covered. This does not cover the purchase, only the item purchased.

I am going to try to avoid using this but hopefully if I do, I will have no problems getting the help.

Never needed to use it. Thankfully, everything worked as it should.

Not bad but I'd rather buy a new product then wait for geek squad to get back with my repair

I love everything about this keyboard except the letters continue to wear off within a year
