I like geek squad services except having to wait until the second year to get help from the store i think if a person buys a warranty on a product from best buy it should start when at first with the two years from geek squad and not the first year with the manufacturer

You won't regret purchasing the 2 year protection. If something happens to your purchase, geek squad will make the repairs for free or replace the product by issuing a gift card with the value of the item on it.
