Personally these plans have come in handy for portable game devices and controllers. But I also saw first hand how useful it’s to have one when a friend bought a tv and had to return it twice (!) for a broken screen. Normal warranty might be enough the first time if returned promptly but having a plan just... gets you a very different treatment and protection.

PS was/is being a dick about covering the warranty and fixing it so i bought a new one, and got the Geek Squad protection. Anything goes wrong in 2 yrs, brand new controller. Considering it only took 3 months for the original to go bad, I foresee myself using this one!

PS5 controllers quickly get stick drift now days, this one doing so within a very short time frame. Was thankfully able to get another one with a smaller payment as opposed to having to pay full price.

The return policy is amazing but their geek squad is awesome and I’ve never had an issue. This comes very handy and they never give you a hard time and take care of your needs.
