As someone who works for a tech company it’s important to have coverage on certain items. Controllers are something you definitely want insurance for as the analog sticks always go due to repeated actions like pressing forward to run.

Needed this for a controller and had zero trouble replacing it.

When buying something eligible for Geek Squad, it’s a no-brainer for me. I have had countless experiences where my purchase had some issues and I was covered by Geek Squad Protection. It’s like they say, you don’t need it until you need it :)

I get extra coverage with geek squad protection.Had a issue in past my tablet dropped and broke screen.They gave new one with no hassle.I know it can suck to pay the extra $ for the coverage but at least you know you are covered.

I always get the insurance coverage when I purchase at Best Buy. It makes life so much easier and I breath easy that my item is covered for at least 2 years.

Most people are hesitant to get the coverage. But BB is so good about taking care of you for having it. I am adamant about NEVER getting any electronics from places like Walmart, because they are notorious for having refurbished items and selling it as new. ALWAYS get the Geek Squad coverage because it comes in SUPER HANDY.
