I bought the “excellent” option for this. It says it comes with original box and paper eork for the excellent option. I didn’t get anything. The controller had a few scuffs obviously was not expecting brand new. No complaints on the controller it’s self just wanted the box! But thats ok anyways!

This is a must never buy anything without this accidental protection I have a 9-year-old son and everything I buy from Best Buy that will allow me to use accidental protection we have and we have used it numerous amounts of times. I will never make a purchase at Best Buy without using the protection.

for anything you buy that you may even have a slight feeling could break, even outside of you babying it (i.e dual sense controller) this might be a necessity

Best to just spend that extra amount for protection because I have a little one that can never take care of anything. Don't tell the young one it's getting covered but this works for any device and it protects on any incident. You get an automatic replacement just by pulling up your best buy account.

Will always add these protection plans to anything I can if I think it could break down from wear and tear from use. Have used many times on many products and have had no issues with these protection plans so far.

The 2 yr warranty was a good buy. Our PS5 controller left analog stick was not working anymore and returned it for a new controller. Easy to exchange and no hassles from customer service. I was really worth it to have this protection.

I will never leave the store without geek squad protection on anything over $100. But for smaller tech items, I would also still recommend it, especially if it's cheap. more specifically controllers because of stick drift and accidental damage
