    Geek Squad protection is like car insurance. Don't drive your expensive electronics without it. I used to spend $60 on a new controller every few months when my triggers or my joysticks stopped worked. A $20 Geek Squad protection plan changed that. Now when they break in a few months, I can count on Best Buy to swap it out with a working product, buy a new protection plan and keep it moving. For items that experience wear and tear, there's nothing better.

    I am so glad of have a habit of buying the protection plan on all of my electronics. My son was using the VR headset for the first time and lunched forward, crashing into my desk. He was fine, but the desk and the headset, no so much. Best Buy replaced the VR headset without question. Now if i only had a service plan on my desk from the furniture store.

    This was the replacement of a headset that was damaged. I always recommend getting the warranty for small items. I was able to bring back the broken item, get it exchanged and was on my way within 5 minutes. I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t want this service. The pros at Geek Squad are always quick and professional, and make the exchange process hassle free.

    The 2 year warranty in my opinion is a must especially if its a big ticket item. I have use their warranty exchange before and they do a great job. My experience my niece had accidentally snapped my headset earcup i took the item in for the warranty exchange the team was great and easy to talk with i had brought the item in its original box and everything it comes with I was able to get the same model or get store credit for a different headset i got new set and paid to renew the warranty for another 2 years

    Geek squad for the most part are very hopeful and it’s quick sometimes. If you have an appointment it’ll be faster. The wait time does take a while which sucks

    Yes it is. If you got an electronic like a gaming controller that you know might break, you can return it and get a new one.

    Making elite series 2 ownership sustainable.

    Has been absolutely necessary with my series 2 elite controller that I’ve now swapped out 3 different times due to faulty receivers that eventually go bad one place or another. The gamepads have been switched out with very little questions asked beyond the initial issue being detailed. I will continue to buy the insurance with all my electronics purchased through BB

    Lifesaver with my son's headsets

    We bought the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Xbox headset for my son. After two months, the mic quit. We invoked the Geek Squad plan. Four months later, headset number two gave up the ghost. We're now on headset number three, about two months in. Both headsets had microphone failure. The headphones themselves were flawless -- great for music and such, but if your friends can't hear you, what good are they. Thankfully I was able to get the headsets replaced quickly in store. Very happy!

    Highly recommend this service to anyone that gets game console items that can go bad quickly like controllers or you may even get a new controller that isn't working properly and geek squad will replace it no questions asked
