I was having problem with my surface the geek squad helped me step by step to fix everything. I thought I lost all my files. To help me fix it and I'm forever grateful I'm so glad that I had this because it saved me a lot of money

They've saved me a few hundred bucks for problems I couldn't figure out myself. They inspired me to learn more about computers. When I was little I wanted to work at best buy just to be in the geek squad lol

You buy that 2 year protection plan, you bring it to the store and they instantly give you credit. AND you dont have to rebuy the plan, its still in effect. AND you can tie it to your phone number or an email and then you dont need a receipt. I do it on everything I buy there now. I also buy more there so I have a local store and dont have to deal with RMAs
