You shouldnt have to gamble on quality goods

Second time buying this same keyboard. This happene both times.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though the extended warranty starts after the manufacturer warranty, it starts losing value immediately. We purchased a 2 year extended warranty that extended the manufacturer's 1 year warranty on our computer tower. However, when we had the unit serviced under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty due to performance issues, Best Buy "totaled" the tower and gave us a full refund. HOWEVER, when we purchased the new tower, we had to pay EXTRA for the new 2 year extended warranty. Even though we were still within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, Best Buy charged us extra to purchase the extended warranty (on top of our refund for that warranty) because some of the time had lapsed. So, you purchase two extra years which are supposed to start after the manufacturer's warranty, BUT the time starts ticking immediately in regards to to the value of the warranty.
