Great sound for these babies! I really enjoyed this best buy!

I suppose that I could have gotten a defective unit (but I doubt it). I bought this because many, many reviews from all over the internet suggested that it has good music quality. It is marketed with this as a primary use case. DO NOT buy this if you are looking to spend this kind of money getting a high quality portable speaker. It is terrible for something that costs this much. The bass was the loosest, muddiest base I have heard in a long time. What should have been deep, sharp "thumps" were more like rolling waves that built slowly and tailed off sluggishly. With any quick succession of beats, the first beat was still tailing off when the next one started! There was literally no separation between strikes. With some compositions the whole box just became one big cavitating mess! The mid-range was flat and ugly. The highs were non-distinct and tinny. There are no EQ controls for the aux port or bluetooth inputs (not that any EQ could have made the sound acceptable). I cannot speak to the PA aspects of this device. They have XLR inputs with some basic EQ controls. It may be useful for those uses. But for music, look somewhere else. I know my search continues. I know I'm not the only one saying this these days, but now I can say I have personal experience here: "Bose is not making the same products at the same price points as they used to."

Bought a JBL speaker and the 2 year warranty. My speaker started to malfunction a little over 2 years since i bought it. The sound didn't sound right. I tried to get it fixed come to find out my warranty has expired. Best buy sells you this warranty without telling you that its going to be overlapped with manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer warranty is 1 year, That's when that 2 years warranty should be applied after that first year. So best buy won't honnor to fix my speaker do to this warranty problem. Before purchasing warranty for anything from best buy make sure there able to honnor what they sell.

I've got this in the past for different devices. Depending on the price, it's ok but not necessary. Most big-name devices you get have warrantees. So, this isn't really needed. Anway, to each their own.

Battery is good for about 3-4 hours. Not sure where they got 24 hours from

Terrible connection and sound quality. Device is in straight and direct line of sight, 10 feet away from speaker, there is NOTHING between source and speaker. Yet, the connection is not only choppy, but also has an annoying background sound, something like the sound of the "sand" on a tv channel that is not tuned. I have tried it already with 2 different speakers, different brands, sizes, qualities and capabilities. Same result. I wish I could return this piece of junk.

Nice sized display, alarm quit working after 3rd use.

The sound is incredible. The app itself, the power control, and the bluetooth funcionality are all absolute, complete, garbage. Get this: You can connect the app to multiple speakers, but YOU CANNOT SWITCH BETWEEN THE SPEAKERS FROM THE APP. ??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable garbage software on this otherwise incredible speaker.

DO NOT BUY. I am returning this piece of junk. The button for resetting time does not work. The button for setting the date does not work, renering it useless.

This speaker honestly sucks, it feels and is lightweight, the sound quality isn't good, and it BROKE after only ONE use! I DO NOT recommend buying this speaker, I am very upset and unsatisfied with my purchase!

Bought a Shape boombox was very Dissatisfied with the product was not able to return to the store was told I had to call the manufacturer and they was not willing to take it back and it was only 5 days old and out of the box. It would turn off when used with batteries and had lots of problems keeping it connected with Bluetooth so I wouldn’t advise you to buy a Shape product

Didn’t work without earbuds very disappointed, spent $30 dollars cause of tax on this item. Best Buy do better and mention if your products do or do not work

Can't connect both and pair with another blue device and they do not work with UE BOOM app. Would not recommend

The battery life is not 24 hours playing music except that the sound is amazing

Doesn't work with any devices that I have. Speakers, phone, TV.
