Sure a couple extra dollars but your buying peace of mind. The manufacturer warranty is in the first year but best buy will handle it for you. After that they will repair the device much better than having to buy a new one

The bluetooth connection can be at times fickle and i am not crazy about the touch controls, also i wish it folded. But its a great product nonetheless.

I purchased extended warranty and just might return them as I need better noise cancelling. My last headset was great but just wore out quickly so I purchased these.

Used them in the sauna, gym running, and dailly use the sound quality is amazing doesnt sound to loud where your ears feel like there going to pop. The base is amazing and they are supper comfortable.

This is one of the best and most appreciated things about Best buy ... After every purchase I make they ask "Would you like". And I stop them there and say "Yes please add the protection"

You can get your item replaced for free, or if its unavailable, you receive the original purchase amount on a Best Buy gift card so you can choose a new item. Well worth the price!
