I haven't needed to use the extra protection but it gives me peace of mind knowing everything is covered should I need it.

Haven't had to use this protection for the product we purchased, but past experience with Geek Squad was always great.

This is my third renewal of Geek Squad service. When I go online or go directly to BestBuy store, they are great for getting things running again and also answering questions.

Geek squad is awesome, this warranty covers everything basically. Although geek squad tends to be really busy and sometimes you end up waiting a long time to have your device fixed.

Purchased for school Chromebook as the unit is a refurb. You just never know with kids.

I purchased the 3-year warranty on a laptop. The display started doing some odd things. Since it didn’t do it for them they said they weren’t sure what it was. Apparently if I had paid for their membership they would have run diagnostics for free. If there turns out to be an issue with the display or the graphics card, they do not fix it in house. They would have to ship it off and it could take weeks to get back. I should have purchased the manufacturers extended warranty instead.

I always choose to have this option from Best Buy for expensive items, such as laptop. GEEK SQUAD will take care of item if it has malfunction.
