Geek Squad service and the Best Buy warranties are amazing. They will literally fix, have it fixed, or replace it. All this is done in a timely fashion. The price may seem steep to some but I disagree especially if you only grab a one or two year warranty. I look at it like this, do I want to repurchase the item or pay less than half the price for my warranty? The answer is obvious to me but some customers will find out the hard way. I hope you take my advice and at least grab a one year warranty especially with fragile electronics. I hope you are using a surge protector!

I watched YouTube videos for tips and tricks. I installed GOG with few issues, and controller based games were fine. I spent hours fighting with Xbox Game Pass because of the UI. I finally gave up. On the second day, an update was applied, and a Bitlocker screen showed up upon restart. After too much time, I discovered that the volume button would bring up the virtual keyboard. My biggest complaint is the UI. I couldn't just use the controller because the mouse pointer (and functionality) would disappear. I'm returning it after less than a day of actual use.

Probably if I hadn't bought it I would have lost my equipment thx

I really wanted to like this. I already had a steam deck but the specs of the Legion Go really had me pumped, on top of native Game Pass, but reality didn’t match paper. I compared game performance of Overwatch 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 side by side with same settings (set the Legion to 720p). Steam Deck had double the frame rates on both games. I had high hopes of having a hand held to play Starfield, but even potato settings were unplayable, and crashed 30 seconds after loading the save. Loading the games, installing updates and drivers, and general configuration was a lot of worked (compared to Steam Deck). So while the flexibility and tinkering options might appeal to some, I’ll be returning this and sticking with my Steam Deck, so much easier to pick up and play.

This device's has more power then steam deck i have steam deck but im not happy until i get hand on ally bf2042 woth over 1080p cod mw2 over 1920p I dont why people has the issue

Its a decent concept however, its heavier than you expect most games will only get 22 to 35fps and thats out of the box. You will want more storage on internal ssd drive. 400 plus after windows 11 is enough for 3 games and a few programs. Dont use the sd csrd slot for heavy games. Exhaust fan will melt the card. Also you will 2 mods. Heatsink on ssd drive and 32 gb memory not 16. Then mess with a bunch of settings to increase fps to about 40ish range. Lots of updates. To me its not worth it. Traded it for a switch and got 300 cash.

Got it 2 days ago and it works just like I wanted it to most triple a games on mid settings 88 fps

Warranty is really worth it! Covers accidental damage better then most.

Talked to best buy support several times and they all said that my package was ready to be picked up by UPS. The status changed to "Packaging". Now just changed to "will try do deliver on nov 13th". I will be traveling back to my home country on Nov 3rd and I trusted that Best Buy would ship it on its promissed date (when I ordered it Best Buy informed me that it would ship on release date and that It would arrive next morning. Not mad about not getting the console but mad about the lies. Do you think that best buy figured out that they didn't have enought consoles only in the relase date? They knew that they wouldn't be able to fufill the orders and keept quiet to avoid mass cancelation and to keep your pre-order money.

I can see why this was "like new" and returned. ROG Ally has way too many issues. I'm going to assume that Ally has more issues than steamdeck at this point. I'm stuck with this device, but you don't have to be. Sd card is flawed. Device overheats. This is just 2 of the many glitches I've run into.

Bought a “like new asus rog ally” came broken and when I went to try and get a replacement they tried to make me pay another 150 bucks for a new one and it’s gonna take them up to 3 business days to refund me. Probably never shopping here again.

I think it’s ridiculous that Best Buy wouldn’t be up front about the fact that when you’re PRE ORDERING something not only will it not arrive on the release day, they have no idea WHEN it will arrive. The item is backordered. I had to spend an hour trying to chat with a human being to figure that out. If your device doesn’t ship today, good luck. They don’t even know when they’re getting more.

They really don't know what they are doing. Service is pricey and you have to beg for help. Actually all stores in Florida have terrible customer service. It's like they are doing a favor to you if you want to buy from the, obviously geek squad is just the same

They weren’t able to find the issue to my laptop. Told me to contact the manufacturer instead.

Got an excellent open box item. It wasn't and the charger was missing.
