Don't ever pass up the warranty my watch band on the Gear2 took it in to Best Buy gave me a new watch immediately.

My first Alta after a year started showing some wear on band, started splitting. Was nice to exchange for new one.

I did not use it due to returns!!Always better to be safe than sorry
