My citizen smartwatch was going out and i brought it in to have it looked at they said they basiclly just replace it with a new one but they no longer carried my particular model in stock so they refunded me what i payed for it and i got a new samsung 6 classic the transition was super easy and smooth the associate helping me was very knowledgeable and helpful

I am soooo glad to have purchased the protection plan like I do with most things from Best Buy. You just never know when something will go out and in this case, my mom's smart watch went on the fritz. Best Buy took a look at it and I guess it wasnt fixable so they just told us to go and select a new watch and the amount that we purchased our previous one about a year ago, they would apply that to our new replacement. I know that when you purchase something you dont want to add more to your bill but protection plans from Best Buy are ALWAYS worth it! Thank you Best Buy for taking care of us!

Dude I've trashed so many watches at work it's not funny. Every time I come in I'm like "Hey so I scratched this poor bugger." they're all like "Bro don't even sweat it. Here's full store credit" and I'm like "can I use that on the newer watch?" and for real, they don't care! I've upgraded my watch twice! For the cost of renewing the warranty and like fifty bucks. Do it.

Ive started my weight loss journey with the purchase of the samsung galaxy watch 5 pro and i can gladly and proudly share that with the help of the cardio and calorie tracking, ive managaed to get my weight under control! Ive taken it swimming and lifting and have never had a problem with it. Absolutely Recommend!

They take care of the customers! I had an issue with the watch, and they have been very helpful and are sending me a replacement watch and bands to help eesolve the issue. The watch is very nice, and I love it! The only thing I'd suggest is a temp reading. The slate gray goes with any other band so I'd definitely recommend that color!

Great idea to add on. My watch unfortunately broke. And I dreaded the return process for fear of lots of questions or being denied return. I was happily surprised. Took watch in last night explained issues. No need to beg for an exchange or refund. The team member search for an exact replacement which was not available. The money I paid for the watch was quickly refunded to me so that I may use it towards another smart watch. Most hassle free process ever. Thank you Best Buy Geek Squad!

I purchased 24 month plan for $40 with my Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. 17 months later, my watch stopped working properly. The screen would not turn on. I followed the instructions and made an appointment with Geek Squad. Unfortunately, that was a waste of time - they do not repair watches. Instead I was told to swap it out at customer service. Customer service refunded the original purchase price, including value of a rewards certificate I used to buy the watch. The upgraded version was the same price, so they swapped it for a newer watch. The only downside - I was told that my protection plan was "used", and even though there was technically 7 months remaining, it was no longer valid. I purchased a new protection plan for the replacement watch though, especially since the first one gave out for no reason. Overall, it's a great value. Complaints are that I wasted days waiting for an appointment that I didn't need, and that I had to buy a new plan.

I buy Geek Squad protection for peace of mind, and to help manage my budget. Costly repairs or replacement are completely eliminated. Unlike some 3rd party extended warranties, Best Buy stands behind Geek Squad, and in several instances in which I had an issue, I just carried the item to the local Best Buy, described the problem, and was immediately given a choice of an equivalent replacement or cash back! Some protections are replacement items (smaller items) and some, like a washer and dryer, are repair items. I highly recommend Geek Squad Protection!
