I have had the same problem three consecutive times with a Dyson vacuum. When I got the second one, I got a three-year extended geek squad warranty in anticipation of having further problems. The vacuum broke inside of what would have been the manufactures one-year warranty but because Best Buy replaced the vacuum under my extended warranty, that voided the extended warranty, and now my third product has already broken and the three-year warranty was a waste. This would be great for products that you expect to last beyond Their Factory warranty, but I would shy away if you have a product that has a higher potential for a short shelf life

Always get this every time I purchase something that it’s more then $250

When I was asked about the Geek Squad Service I said yes and when he scanned it the price went down by almost 15 dollars and I was extremely happy.

My vacuum broke and when I took it in they just said I could get store credit or pick a vacuum off the floor.

Easy process and well worth it. I would highly recommend getting the warranty

Excellent customer service and answering all my questions. Convenient scheduling times and appointments. Highly recommended replaced my old product when it failed no questions asked.

I have not had to use it yet. But I do recommend everyone should purchase when buying an expensive piece of equipment

This was a good uograde from the v11 dog edition and in very pleased

So far have not had to use it on this, at least have it in case it is needed, hope if to need to be serviced or that to happen while having the Geek Squad Protection
