I know $200 for 5 years warranty on $1000 product should be done to give me peace of mind so I did it

I always get a protection plan but if I don’t use it for a while, I will cancel it.

Haven’t had to use the geek squad protection plan until now and it was so easy. Brought in my old vacuum and they let me exchange for the same item or upgrade and pay the difference.

Again i have never had to use this plan on anything but it is a great value to add protection to your products. Geek squad is always ready to answer any questions you have if you call them.

Comes in handy when your item breaks after a number of years. Best Buy has the best warranty of any big box store out there.

The protection plans are great they protect the product no question ask. I have replaced items up to two years old and got a brand new one for free with warranty.

I bought a dee boy and after like 3 months it stopped chatty. Called geek squad and was told to bring into store and they swapped it out for a new one & I was allowed to purchase a new warranty

Accidents happen... much better than having to spend another 350 on a new vacuum!

I bought this to replace my Dyson one. They are all about the same...don't work that great but work enough to keep for it's convenience. Don't like that there is no hanger/spot for the additional pcs but for the price I guess it's ok. Most are way too expensive.

Never can go wrong with the protection plan especially if the manufacturers warranty isn't great. And the protection plan against accidents is the best

I have had the same problem three consecutive times with a Dyson vacuum. When I got the second one, I got a three-year extended geek squad warranty in anticipation of having further problems. The vacuum broke inside of what would have been the manufactures one-year warranty but because Best Buy replaced the vacuum under my extended warranty, that voided the extended warranty, and now my third product has already broken and the three-year warranty was a waste. This would be great for products that you expect to last beyond Their Factory warranty, but I would shy away if you have a product that has a higher potential for a short shelf life

Why not? The 3 year protection gives you piece of mind and allows you to fully enjoy your purchase.

Their services do not fall short of excellent. When something covered breaks, rest assured you will have it most likely replaced than fixed.

Adding 5-year accidental geek squad protection to item purchased is good for me!
