    Helped me saved so much on items that would break down after certain amount of time. I strongly recommend customers getting this to protect themselves from low quality products that are at no fault to Best Buy.

    It really is wirth it when you get the replacement coverage at BB. Over the years, I've had to use it 2 or 3 times and it's so little, but covers so much. With Best Buy, there's never any hassle. I jist had my favorite Keurig Coffee maker go out on me. I took it back to BB...(after a year and a half) and they fully refunded me. I got another Keurig and paid the difference!

    My tablet wasn't working but Geeks tried . But to no avail it just wouldn't come on. They did really put forth the effort.

    Got me a new better blender

    After about a year and some change, my blender began to leak from the sides. When I took it to Best Buy, they just reimbursed me, and I was able to use that for a new blender. I always recommend getting the protection plan to my friends and family. It is easy to either replace or repair or get your money back. I’ve purchased plans for all my products that I can, and it has yet to disappoint me.

    I was amazed at first but I’m not so sure that the filter is catching anything anymore. It is very reactive to smells in the kitchen and it will turn itself on high whenever we cook. But it doesn’t seem to be catching much in the filter at one year after purchase. The first filter filled up and looked disgusting after 6 months (as it’s supposed to!). The honeycomb part of the filter caught all kinds of stuff. The second filter ended its 6-month lifetime and there was *almost nothing* in the HEPA filter - the white honeycomb part stayed white & very clean. Only the side air enters into had some fine dust visible on it. I’m putting in a third $99 filter, but I’m going to watch it. It may go back to Best Buy on the warranty. I think my inexpensive 3M does a better job, with it’s pre-filter, of catching dust. I think the Shark does a better job at catching odors. It seems to detect smoke from forest fires and cooking at least. But the empty filter this second time is puzzling. I wish this had a pre-filter. The only thing I can think of is that the fine dust on the solid outside part of the filter stock to airflow??? That’s where a pre-filter would come in handy.

    So far so good, wings, loaded potatoes from tgifridays jalapeño poppers, full sized digorno pizzas, gotta get an elevated tray to get the bottom done better. But still cooked in the middle. Not doughy. Great work oven. Cooks quick 10-20 min mostly. Still experimenting with it. I’ve heard you can cook steak in it and it’s actually pretty good. I will have to update this after I cook a streak in it.

    Lost Netflix while watching a show. I pushed some buttons on the remotes while cleaning them after spilling sticky stuff on them. Pushed wrong buttons. Called Netflix, lost over an hour and no help from people who did not speak English well. Called my cable company and lost another hour and was told my TV was bad. My hair turned gray by now and I was cranky. I am a logical person. I pushed wrong buttons so it was a physical thing, not a bad TV or cable wires... etc. I needed that geek person who was logical and smart, liked a challenge. So, I called Geek Squad, I have a service contract with them. Bam. 5 minutes... count them, 5... he, my hero, figured it out. Told me how to reset the system and buttons and bam I was back with Grey's Anatomy. He was quick, and he was "it", the person you want to help you, the one who gets it.

    I spoke to a geek squad agent on the phone who said that she could find my order/plan information even after I gave her the plan number and order number, and she was ready to hang up the phone until I insisted that she keep looking. Once I took up the order date from my email, she said she found it. This was frustrating and also happened in store. I think that staff are trained to lie about not being able to find our plans unless we pull up every single piece of information connected to the order. The lady on the phone verified that my product would be replaced in the store the following day after she booked me an appointment in her system. However when I got to the store I was only able to return my non-functional appliance for a store credit refund instead of the replacement I was guaranteed because the product was not in stock there. I would’ve preferred a cash refund with the product being out of stock especially since it was in stock online for double the price, but I was able to find something else to use the gift card on the same day so I decided not to press management about it. The in-store geek squad process was also very unorganized and staff were rude and incompetent. There should be two separate lines for people who take the time to make an appointment and check in online, versus people who are walk-ins. I had to wait in line holding a heavy appliance behind 6 people who did not have appointments because when I went up to the counter and told the person I had an appointment for that time, he said I still had to wait until he finished helping with everyone else. In my eyes, that defeats the point of having an appointment system.

    I mean it’s insurance. Can’t go wrong. I have had geek squad before and from my experience they have always resolved any issues. Actually, I only had to use it once for a device from work and they did amazing work in a timely manner. Not many of the products I’ve purchased from Best Buy need servicing. I still have things from 2016 that work just fine!

    It depends on the product and brand , as for example for bose product they need to send to bose and waited more than a month without my product.

    Good while it lasted… It only lasted like 6 months.. it would not warm up after that.. but to be fair I did use it a lot those 6 months.
