I almost always purchase geek squad warranty, I find it to be an excellent value and protection. I had to use it a few times and the service was excellent as well.

Excellent plan very easy to activate because it activate automatically. And if you ever had to use it, you can go right back to any store go to the geek squad to look it up and go from there.

nice to know you have a peace of mind with the extended warranty, i like that it's a replacement not a repair, im sure if i ever have to use it i'll have my small appliances replaced right there and then no need to wait on a repair, thumbs up guys , keep up the good customer service!

Received a used one instead of new which angered me for taking a trip to the store to return it and I needed one before a party. The plastics on the main frame body were melted at certain parts. And part of the metal were deformed with what seemed like white glue over it to keep in place. The main frame seemed to be scrubbed with metal sponge as there were scratch marks all over. The ceramic plate itself looked fine. However, for paying full price, I am unsatisfied. Whoever returned this should have mentioned that it was already used and a fire hazard.

[Employee of bestbuy] The Bad is that sometimes making a Claim with Geek Squad Protection can take some time on the phone. (20 minutes?) The Good is that when I've made claims with Geek Squad, as long as within warranty terms, they have always supported the plan, and repaired or replaced items for me.

I always purchase the geek squad replacement, because it comes in handy when I have to return to have to call in regards to an issue about my product. They are always helpful with assisting and getting the problem resolved.

In the beginning I was like who buys a warranty for I product you just bought. It better not break. Well listen it don't have to break it can wear down or loose it's power. With really no questions asked they say go pick out a new one ( 2yrs later).

THE GEEK SQUAD PRTECTION IS VERY IMPORTENT TO HAVE. I HAD NO THOUBLE GETTING SERVICE WHEN MY LAPTOP NEEDED SERVICE, THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO EXPLAINING TO MR WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE

Always get it with any purchase in store. Well worth it.

This service is excellent, especially for earphones. I have noticed that, for some reason, all the earphones I purchased tend to break quickly.
