Protection plan is great, in general, but especially in these higher value products. My $900 espresso machine started having some issues and the manufacturer was less than helpful. I just brought it back to Best Buy and they refunded me with a store credit. The rep didn’t tell me that I could get the same one, just swapped out. She only told me I would get credit and I’d be able to pick out another one. I loved that machine and would have been thrilled to get it again but had to pick something out from the shelf instead. I would have given 3 stars just because I wasn’t made aware of the options and I could not get a straight refund; but they got 4 for ease of use.

I would never buy warranties before. However, anytime I purchase a quality product with Best Buy, I use Geek Squad. The ease of service, whether it's an issue with the product or if it needs to get fixed, they instantly get the problem solved for me as soon as possible. Sometimes warranties seem like they're a gimmick. However, the Geek Squad warranties are definitely worth it.

I've worked with some of these brands for years and alway wanted one for my home. Bruhhhhh let me tell you best freaking decision ive ever made ive made so many things like really smooth hot sauces to puree, and blended coffee smoothies and so much more im seriously obsessed.

Came from a Ninja unit that died after about six years and with this coffee maker you definitely get what you pay for! The warming plate after 7 months has peeled and rusted regardless of how much care I put into it, the coffee itself has never brewed to the quality the Ninja gave me but it was a cheap machine so I went with it. Oddly also the water loss from brewing is inconsistent. Not sure what that's about but I guess it speaks to the meh brewing quality. Also VERY much speaks to the constantly dropping price of this machine! I paid 50 bucks on sale and now it's 20! Glad I got the service plan because with the gradual breakdown of this thing I don't feel quite so screwed over!

I always get GSP whenever I purchase an item like this! They always can either do a simple return/exchange, or they give me store credit for an upgrade, which is often appreciated. I'd highly recommend GSP when getting this kind of item

Geek Squad is the best insurance you can get at Best Buys whenever you buy a product I was by your additional insurance from Geek Squad because they will go to your house and they will fix and replace anything that's wrong with your product you can go wrong for the service you save money cuz my mind insurance without it you have to come out of your pocket and it's not worth it so investing Geek Squad cuz they're the best in the business I've been with them for 6 years already and I returned one product and they replaced it with a brand new one that was my air fryer my TV I had a problem one of my older ones I turned it in instead of getting a new one replaced I got the credit back of the same price and use it towards another TV and that was thanks to each one thank you
