I always buy this with computers. I spend a lot of money on a computer and computers can quit working. NOT the fault of Best Buy. Things happen. Geek squad service plan isn't always something I need to use. But when I have used it the plan has saved me a lot of money on repairs. Best Buy does not manufacture their products and without this plan you need to rely on the good graces of the manufacturer's warranty service

This is a must get when ever you buy a new computer, tablet, surface or electrical device. To many times something has happened and the device is broken. If I didn't get this, I would have to pay out of pocket to get a new one, even though the damage is not extensive, it is expensive to fix. Cheaper sometimes to get a new one. For a small cost, I have it covered and it is fixed professionally and completely.

Great insurance for my new daughter laptop. I hope to not use it anyway.

They provided great service on my HP laptop. I was glad that I had it because they came to the rescue. I always have the protection with items over 200.00 and so far it's come in handy.

Worth every penny. Having a student, you know accidents are going to happen. Great product and service.

I bought Geek Squad protection with my recent laptop purchases. I had issues with laptops keeping up with Silhoutte program so I had to trade in 2 laptops before I bought my HP Spectre laptop. IT guys were very patient. I wasn't originally prepared for such a high cost but with Geek Squad I was able to trade in when I had issues until I finally made the leap. They helped me chose something that fit my needs.

It was not expected that Best Buy would cheat the customer, I had bought an excellent open box laptop online from Best Buy, which was in a very bad condition. the paint was peeling from the corner of the laptop and the 14" laptop was kept in a 24" x 16" box without a spot, the charger cable also looked very old, I'm thinking of a case for Best Buy's fraud. do

Just purchased with our new laptop from Bestbuy. Nice to know we have protection beyond the manufacturer.

This is my tweens first laptop. I love her dearly but she is kind of clumsy. Knowing we have insurance to protect her laptop from unforeseen circumstances and mechanical failure. I trust the Geek Squad to provide professional service under all the calamities that might befall this machine! It is worth every penny to buy this coverage.

Have only had one issue that I needed Geek Squad's help for, an unfortunate intersection between a power surge and my computer updating to Windows 11. We definitely all thought the computer was fried! Geek Squad helped me get the computer up and running. I'm hoping that together we can keep it running another year!

Geek squad has always been helpful and near by when need assistance with computer issues. This is opposed to the manufacturing process and have to send to an outside location.

When you buy a $1,500 computer, you really gotta get an extended warranty. Things happen. Accidents happen, whether the laptop gets dropped, or water (or crumbs) spill on it. A video card can go out, a key can get stuck. I like that I just bring it into the store and it will be serviced. I don't how fast Geek Squad is, but I like that there's somewhere I can physically take it, if I need to.

Still working and in good shape. I love it, I recommend you buying this.

The manufacturer was so hard to deal with, so I called Geek Squad and they took the burden off of my shoulders and made things right, and the associates I spoke with were patient and were able to provide me with all the information I needed.

Buying a Chromebook for a middle-school child is a must and the protection was a no brainer - already made use of it when she dropped it down our staircase and the touch-screen sensitivity was gone. Brought the Chromebook in for repair, took a little longer than anticipated but she did a decent number on the item. Got it back in perfect shape, like new. Well worth the extra cash up front.

Best Buy has a great geek squad. When my iPhone X got stuck in a boot loop, they tried to resolve the issue for me first. When that led to a dead end, the replaced it with a replica model & told me to come back if there were any issues with the new phone. The team was nice & patient, they even made me feel comfortable having been there for nearly two & a half hours.
