Not for nothing but the extra protection on anything you purchase is always worth it esp when you have kids

i bought this laptop for my granddaughter for college, she loves it. said it works smoothly helps in her classwork, she takes it with her all the time, grate for studies, thanks me all the time

We've used Geek Squad for several years, both to transfer data from old computers to new ones, and to fix problems with computers we're currently using. And each time they've been courteous, quick, and reliable in what they do.

Reasonable price for peace of mind. Haven't needed to use it yet, but I nice to know I won't have to pay large sums of money if we have to use it.

I have never had to use the Accidental Geek Squad Protection, but I purchased it just in case because, according to other reviews from others, you would be greatly pleased with it, ifyou ever had to use it.

I purchased the extended warranty for 3 years on my Chromebook as I do for all my products there have been occasions I have had to use the service and I don't have to pay any extra money

The Geek Squad is my go to team to fix computer issues. The team is polite, friendly, and they turn the work around quickly. They have also fixed problems right at the counter.

Read the fine print. If they decide, at their discretion, to replace the covered item, rather than repair it, they will issue you a store credit for the amount of the original purchase. However, the fine print states that in that case, their obligations for the extended waranty ar3 fully satisfied. Meaning, while you will get a store credit to buy a new device, your new device will not have the extended waranty. If you want that, you will need to pay for it again again. Basically in my case, i prepaid $309 to allow me to return my defective machine after the return period expired. I have a new machine, but i have no extended waranty, and less storage due to pricing and feature differences for in stock items. The terms stated in the simplified description are misleading and i do not recommend this service.

Since the computer is for the kids, it's important to have it fully protected.

We always purchase the 3yr Geek Squad protection plan when we purchase a laptop from Best Buy. It has paid for itself a number of times when we had the lcd screen go bad.

The people who came to my apartment were very respectful and courteous. They did a great job with the installation and cleaned up any debris. I would highly recommend them.

Yes, of course that I love this newly introduced "3-Year accidental Geek Squad Protection" plan very much, because we all can make a mistake or have a bad luck day at sometimes in the future; so this 3-Year plan sounds just perfect.

I have never had to use this, but I am confident that if I did I would be able to use it! It is worth it for the risk of an accident!
