I have been with Geek Squad in the past and have purchased a 3 year protection plan in the past as well. My last purchase with Geek Squad was actually today (December 31, 2021) and needless to say, it was worth it in the past and still is.

I have only had to use the geek squad service a couple of times and they are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable

Geek squad is legit. They'll take care of your electronics. I brought in a laptop and got an upgrade. I would suggest alwaying backing up your data.

I was able to get a free replacement laptop on the 3rd anniversary of the warranty. Can't beat that!! I always get extended warranties on my cars as well, and i must say this turned out just fine! For an expensive laptop, this is the way to go.

We have geek squad protection on all of our electronics. My wife's laptop stopped working when some water got in it in the kitchen. The geeks fixed it. We had a lightning strike that burned out the hdmi port on our TV (don't know why that happened). The Geeks fixed it.
