    Geek Squad Protection on New Laptop, Peace of Mind

    Replaced less than 3-year old Surface with Lenovo Yoga as the screen was flickering and became strenuous to work. As the warranty ran out on the old, we bought 3-year protection from Geek Squad. I am sure this will be worth it whether or not we need it. In the past, we used the service on iPad key board and Best Buy Geeks made it quite easy to replace the broken ones with new every time.

    Love the geek squad. Have not had to use the accidental /damage protection, but get it anyway just in case. Better safe than sorry, as for the regular stuff that geek squad deals with I call and they can usually fix. I strongly recommend especially if purchasing a very expensive computer/laptop.

    I ended up getting a device replacement for my Razer Blade 15. Geek Squad wasn't able to get parts in and repair my laptop within the 30 day period from when I brought in my device. Because of this, they replaced my unit with a new laptop. It was a very, very frustrating experience during those 30-40 days with customer service, but the warranty is the only thing that allowed me to get a replacement so for that I'll give it four stars. One star taken away for terrible and disorganized customer service.

    This is an essential service, if you are a computer hardware person if you are a layman. Get this. If there’s a problem they will fix it or replace it.

    A MUST YOU PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT YOU NEVER KNOW AND THEY EITHER FIX IT OR YOU GET CREDIT THE AMOUNT AND GET A NEW ONE , I BOUGHT A TOUCH SCREEN ONE THAT HE KINDA DROP THE BAG PACK AND IT CRACK THE SCREEN AND I HAD THIS PROTECTION IT IS GREAT

    I purchased this 1 yr warranty for a new laptop I bought my 10 yr old daughter. Exactly almost 1 year later the screen is cracked and I just made it in time with the warranty. I send it out and they are fixing now. I might get a free replacement if they are unable to fix it. For this reason I always get some sort of warranty on products usually over $500.

    Actually replaced products I’ve owned through course of owning anything thru years many times best plan ever had they fix or replace no questions asked on the same day if they fill they couldn’t fix it with product of better value at times to very quick to decide if it needed replaced definitely recommend

    I don’t normally buy extra protection but decided to get it on my new laptop. Good thing 8 months after I bought it everytime I unplugged the computer from the power supply the computer completely shut down. I brought it in and was told it could take two weeks or more to get back depending on what was wrong. To my surprise it was back in 4 days. They changed the battery and did some other repairs and so far I’ve had no more problems. Great service
