    I have bought HP laptops from Best Buy for years and years. The geek squad is always helpful and my WebCam was fine. User being an idiot lol, there’s a shutter on the web cams now they’re used to not be.

    I needed to use my Geek Squad plan for the first time and I am so appreciative for the service. My laptop won't turn on. Initially, I was told they'd have to send it off for 2 weeks but rep took to back to see if she could fix problem and she was able to. Thanks so much. Can't afford to be without laptop for 1 day. *-*

    My laptop had a graphics issue after 3 months and I took it to geek squad to get it fixed. The one at both Riverside tried charging me around 300 when I had the year protection to cover any damages. I was upset because they wanted to charge me an extra 90 as well to ship it to get it fixed. Tried speaking to manager and he wasn’t help. Left that Best Buy and went to another one. The one in hip mall told me they shouldn’t have quoted me anything when I had the protection which serves the purpose of getting it fixed. Like finally someone with common sense. Try not to get scammed but they were able to ship it to get my laptop fixed :p

    It’s a good lap top as a beginner laptop. It allows my daughter to play Roblox, watchYouTube videos, and complete school work. For a cheaper laptop it works well.

    To start off I bought an ASUS ROG gaming laptop about 10 years ago. I thought the Geek Squad service plan was a good idea just in case. I have dogs and kids and stuff happens...right? So I bought the 3 year total protection plan. Years go by and my laptop started getting an odd glitch in the keyboard. Letters would choose not to work or the cursor would skip back along a line of text and randomly delete work. So I brought it in to have it looked at. They had to send it out to be repaired because the instore Geek Squad was having their authority to make in house repairs taken away. A crime because the Geek Squad in my Best Buy store was made up of techs that knew their stuff and they saved customers a lot of time. Anyway after sending it out to ASUS for repairs 3 separate times after awhile it would start doing the same thing. I received an email from the stores manager asking me to come in and talk about my laptop. I expected to be told that there was nothing that could be done especially because I was past my service contract. When I got into the store the manager handed me a brand new ASUS ROG gaming laptop and an apology for not being able to repair my laptop. He further explained that although I was past the end of my service contract I brought my laptop in initially while I was still under a service contract. It was only because Best Buy and ASUS never fully repaired my laptop the first time that Best Buy was willing to replace my laptop. I know that this review is very long but the story is true and the Geek Squad service contract is VERY MUCH worth it. Thanks again Best Buy!
