Love Geek Squad. Used to keep up with technology. Arrrgh. Not anymore because the awesome Geek Squad is able to handle Arrrgh so much better.

The comprehensive coverage on the Geek Squad Accidental Damage is excellent! I've purchased it on a couple of laptops (one for a teen) and when we needed it, they turned the repair around quickly. Definitely worth it!

Geek squad is the best, I wouldn’t purchase an electrical Item without covering with the geek squad.

Worth the money, they are always helpful when I have questions. Also, the accident forgiveness and all possible solutions they offer is worth the money. It is 100% a good idea to get protection on items because you never know when something is going to break or crap out. I just bought a laptop and had the protection added, will never go without again.

Not sure it was fully explained to me. After using it once I was told you can only use it 2x during 3-year period. I thought it was for unrestricted use if there was issues. Make sure you read small print.

I got this for my son's school Chromebook. His first one broke while in a padded and hardcase/shell just from falling off a desk. We used this service and got a decent amount back towards a new one. Did take over a week to get analysis completed and get my refund, so that was a challenge. It ouke be noce if BestBuy figured out how to speed that up.

I haven't have the need to use this plan (hopefully I don't ever) but it's a good option to feel secured.

Long story short. I purchased an expensive gaming laptop that had is GPU go bad after 2 1/2 years and being that I had this coverage was able to get a full refund and was able to purchase an upgraded replacement. I had Geek squad determine the laptops GPU was indeed faulty and had a hassle-free refund within minutes. I was able to replce it that same day.

Haven't had the pleasure to use them yet however I received an email letting me know that they were there if I needed them which was great nice follow up

Bought a laptop, they sent it with OnTrac, and I was home all day waiting for the package, but no one rang the bell. I kept checking on the tracking and it said out for delivery, so I kept waiting, until midnight it still shows out for delivery, so I waited until the next day, still nothing came. I contacted customer service, they told me it was delivered yesterday and showed me a picture of the package sitting wide open on my patio stairs, go figure. 2 months later, the tracking on the site still shows out for delivery. They refused to refund, but also canceled the subscription stuff that came with the laptop, like what? Nothing I can do. Shame business, don't buy from them ever again!

This is good to have incase of any accidents. I'd recommend this especially if you want to protect yourself from having to upgrade a device prematurely.

So, I gave a 4 star rating because the first unit I purchased had an issue with the motherboard. Luckily, I had purchased it during the holidays so it was an easy switch for a new model. The video card works best with an external monitor using a usb-c to hdmi cable. Purchased for $1099 with the 3 year warranty.

This is for anyone who doubts the value of the accidental Geek Squad protection. I had my previous computer for a couple of years. I brought it to my daughter's house where I worked on a project at the dining room table. My granddaughter came by just as I was typing. She tripped on something and dumped a whole glass of liquid into my computer. Amid the shattered glass, and puddled floor, were her tears. But any tears I might have felt, never came to be , because Geek squad came through for me and when they couldn't fix it, they bought me a new one. Yay!!

The best, I wish I would have known about this sooner, for my older laptop.

A customer service representative at best buy told me last May 2021 that if I paid 10 times ( 26.94 dollars with the tax) for a two-year protection plan, however, I realized that I already paid for it 12 times this month. And they told me my plan is for monthly purchases. I was really sad about it because they explained it incorrectly at the store. I also ask geek squad online if they can fix the physical damage on my laptop and they said yes but when I came there in the store they said, " You have to go to HP to get your laptop fixed." That broke my heart when they said that. I paid for the plan of 2-YEAR ACCIDENTAL GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION but the simple damage was not fixed. If you want to buy a warranty please ask about how much will you have to pay at the end and you might look at other offers better than geek squad. I hope this help for you guys who are planning the plan. please look at the simple damage that I was describing.
