A geek squad warranty is a wise investment, They stand behind their products and provide expedient service.

The one time i used their service i waited 20mins before i was acknowledged and 20mins after before a tech bgan diagnosing my machine. Thry then spent 10mins performing the same tests i described to them in person and when i booked my appointment. Then was told i have to eait 4 weeks since they cant service my machine in person. Wish there was a service center near me. Since they dont have machines they lend out while yours is being repaird, my only option to get to critical work was to purcahse a machine i can use temporarily then return it when i pick up my fixed machine (cant have it shipped home, forced to come into BestBuy)

Great customer service helped answer question explained difference between each laptop i was lookimg at and gave me great information to make my decisions easy

The comprehensive coverage on the Geek Squad Accidental Damage is excellent! I've purchased it on a couple of laptops (one for a teen) and when we needed it, they turned the repair around quickly. Definitely worth it!

What I like about the geek squad is that it is super easy to install and fast, they help you with many things and it takes away one more worry if something breaks down.

It's worth getting just in case if anything happens within a year. I just wish the prices weren't as high. I would've gotten more years.

Geek squad stands by their warranty. Only thing i dont agree with os 5 days after purchase. The system broke and had to replace the whole system and i had to buy a new warranty for 80$. I feel the 2 year warranty should have transferred to new system. Or should have only had to pay the 5 days prorated to bring it back to 2 years.

This protection ended up being a blessing. My daughter's laptop screen accidentally cracked within a month of purchase. The whole machine was marked as not fixable and was replaced at the store with no charge. It took a few hours at the store to actually make this happen but with a good result. Only thing questionable is why my 2 year protection was used completely when only one month was actually used. I could understand taking one year of the protection to make up for the unfixable pc but I think one year should have been reimbursed or put towards the new pc.

Bought a laptop, they sent it with OnTrac, and I was home all day waiting for the package, but no one rang the bell. I kept checking on the tracking and it said out for delivery, so I kept waiting, until midnight it still shows out for delivery, so I waited until the next day, still nothing came. I contacted customer service, they told me it was delivered yesterday and showed me a picture of the package sitting wide open on my patio stairs, go figure. 2 months later, the tracking on the site still shows out for delivery. They refused to refund, but also canceled the subscription stuff that came with the laptop, like what? Nothing I can do. Shame business, don't buy from them ever again!

Geek Squad is amazing! Always attentive and knowledgeable. I don't know what I would do without them! Totally worth the money!

So, I gave a 4 star rating because the first unit I purchased had an issue with the motherboard. Luckily, I had purchased it during the holidays so it was an easy switch for a new model. The video card works best with an external monitor using a usb-c to hdmi cable. Purchased for $1099 with the 3 year warranty.
