For the 2 years I've had the protection plan I haven't had to use it. But having the protection for such as important device (my laptop), I believe, is important.

Highly recommend. Son’s laptop broke after 2 years and it couldn’t be repaired. So, under Geek Squad warranty he received new laptop.

This has been so useful, one of my laptops has had three separate issues and the Geek Squad has repaired it without flaw every time.

Better safe than sorry!! I always get protection for everything that I buy because things can happen and this is the best way to be protected.

If you get something that's as expensive as the surface with the possibility that you could drop it, something inside could go wrong or the battery could fail you want a warranty for protection.

Luckily I have not had to use this but better to have than have expensive repairs or have to buy a new device.

We always buy extra warranty’s on all our products from Best Buy. We have a child and accidents happen. It’s always worth the money.

Worth the protection plan. Peace of mind and good to have if for a traveling laptop.

I recommend always buying the Geek Squad protection just in case. The manufacturer warranty only covers defects and this protection covers everything unless I take it for a swim. It is well worth the cost.
