I like the way the price came down for me when I purchased the protection plan on sale. Also, it can be returned for a pro rated refund during the life of the warranty.

When you buy anything over $1000 dollars and you are likely to carry it around with increased exposure to accidents and heavy shaking that is likely to jog something loose, onsider protection plan. It just saves a lot of aggravation given the high probability of an issue developing with 18 months. I historically did not buy protection plans but I have changed my mind when its a electronic that will be carried around. I still do not buy protection p lans for fridge and washers which are not moved as often.

Protection plans are great. Just knowing you have that added protection is great.

I purchased this to go along with my new laptop. I haven't needed it but am glad that I have it, just in case!

I needed a computer during COVID. Customer Service went above and beyond. I have always used HP products. Love this computer.

Computer would not power on, not even 1 month out of the box. Have the Extended Warranty, took it back to a "local" (not by my home) BB. They said they have to return it to ASUS, it should be 2-3 weeks. A MONTH later, get the computer back, no charger. Called ASUS. Literally told me, "someone will email you in 4 days". That is UNACCEPTABLE for a 3K laptop ALREADY in for warranty work. On the phone with BB, the FIRST rep tried to help, but she couldn't get the store on the line, AND they don't even sell a compatible charger. Transferred to 2nd rep, told me to do a 3 hour drive back to the store (me thinking: "Are you mad, lady"). Transferred to another rep, can't do anything to help. Transferred to a 4th rep, guy also can't compensate. I'll never buy another ASUS again, and to BB..., I was only buying from you for one and ONE reason alone (Reward Points), now that's not even worth it (after another SILLY issue with a Car Audio Install). You've lost a customer permanently. Just a bunch of BAD... All around..

you always need protection on your electronics, don't be an idiot to say I don't need it b/c it helped to replace my laptop motherboard and another component.

Geek Squad is so helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I would never buy any technology unless it was backed up with Geek Squad.
