    Think twice if it's a cracked screen.

    They repaired 2 laptops for me at different times. Both machines constantly frooze, When I took them back, even though this was a result of them fixing the screen counted toward my protection plan.

    Tried to get a power cord replaced waited for 4 hours & 2 hours on hold and was hung up on both times. They sent me the wrong power cord and Best Buy would not replace the cord at the store. They insisted I go through Geek Squad to get a replacement. Poor customer service and yet again Best buy does not stand behind their vendors, products, and fix there mistakes. I had to buy the cord on my own.

    If u skip or forget to pay a year then it's voided. Most computers don't have problems untill year 3-5.

    I thought my laptop was getting repaired. It was gone for 3 weeks. When it returns it was as if it had been repaired and dropped again. Ended up just getting a store credit to get another laptop. Although i really wanted my laptop

    If the Geek Squad can’t fix the problem they have to send it away. Then they’ll sell you another protection plan that still doesn’t cover the problem. Luckily my first plan included a refund, no store credit. However, the item is discontinued at Bestbuy. So I have to pay $2500 out of pocket at another store.

    The hard drive was the only thing they replaced, and it didnt work but the wait there is forever so i didnt come back

    Doesn't cover crap

    I had my laptop screen crack nothing here happened and they nor the manufacturer covers anything. Don't waste your money, it's a waste when I was told it would help if dropped by cashier etc.

      Hello Hannah – An Accidental Geek Squad Protection Plan should cover a scree crack, unless the crack occurred outside of the normal use of the computer. Please head on over to www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a time to bring the computer in to your local Geek Squad to go over the details of what happened, and see if your computer is still covered.

    A simple issue associated with editing videos could not be answered via chat or phone call. I was extremely successful via YouTube

      Hello, when it comes to working with outside applications and websites like YouTube we strongly advise our customers to reach out to them directly. While our Geek Squad agents are very knowledgeable, there are questions and procedures that are to be handled by people who work within said organization. They are better suited and trained in certain procedures, policies, and the likes. ^Dave

    They have had my laptop for a month +, no phone calls and cannot get anyone to talk to on the phone. Poor customer service. They act like I am interrupting their day!!! TOTALLY WORTHLESS!!!

    I've tried to use the Geek Squad twice over the years and both times they made a mess of both my office and my problem. There are now, finally, options, and I choose to either call one of the other services available or just ask a friend for advice.

    Everytime I bring my laptop to get repaired I recieve it worst than when I bring it in it happened 2x already that they had to replace it for a new laptop

    I never used it! A couple of months after it expired my computer went out on me so that sucked, I did not purchase it with my new computer!

    Chromebook hinges wore out. Took back to Best Buy for repair and the tech slammed lid and cracked screen. Unrepairable so they did replace unit BUT had to repurchase protection for replacement unit at the cost of $200. Seemed unfair.

    The touchpad is already malfunctioning after only 2 months!!! No amount of downloading &/or troubleshooting is helping at all. This website is a hot mess & i can't see any way to get help other than to call?! What year is this?! Why is there mo troubleshooting available online?!!!

    Ordered this for an expensive laptop. Was not happy with the process. Just a few weeks after receiving the laptop it started to malfunction. It took over a month to get told they couldn’t repair it. Then they didn’t want to just give me the exact laptop as a replacement because it was not on sale that day. Not worth the hassle.
