I bought this laptop six days ago and wanted to give a real review on it once I received it and had a few days to use it. I can honestly say that this laptop is a great machine! Why pay $2k or more for an Alienware laptop when this computer can handle all the games and tasks that you throw at it without a single interruption or any lag? * DISPLAY: The display on this laptop is amazing. It has a crystal clear picture and I haven't noticed any stuttering or tearing of the picture whatsoever with this laptop! It definitely delivers on FPS! * KEYBOARD: This is a membrane keyboard and I prefer those over the CLICKY mechanical ones. I like soft touch and silent keyboards more. But the response time on this is not bad at all! It's actually very good! I love how quick my games react to it. * SOUND: This is definitely a con. I don't know if it was just my speakers or not, but when I listened to some music through them, it sounded like sound coming from a tin can. Luckily, I had some Logitech desktop speakers sitting in a nearby closet, so I pulled those out and connected them to the headset port on the right side of the laptop. Much better! It was a quick and easy fix for me. For anybody getting this laptop, I would highly recommend investing in a pair of desktop speakers as well. It will make all the difference, because the sound on this laptop is not the best. I don't know if it's because they have small speakers in them, so they are limited on what they can accomplish, or if it was just my laptop. Either way, it's a small problem that was easily fixed, so it's nothing I'll be returning my PC over. * STORAGE: This laptop advertises that it comes with a 1tb SSD, and while that may be the case, you only have 800-something to play around with after OS and everything is installed. It also comes with a bunch of bloat apps and such that could have been kept out. It's not Dells fault, though. It's stuff that Microsoft crams into their Windows 11 software. I did a full uninstall of all of them before I really started playing on it. * WHAT I WISH: The only things I would have wished for upon receiving this laptop is that it would have been a touchscreen. That would have been a nice addition for the amount of money that it cost. I paid a little over $1,700 for it after taxes and shipping. More on the shipping next. * SHIPPING: This is a CON! A huge con! When I purchased this laptop, I paid A LOT of extra money to have it overnighted to my house the following day. I work in shipping, so I know all the different options that FedEx and UPS offer, and how much they typically are to ship each thing out. Needless to say, I was NOT happy with my shipping choice. I paid the equivalent for FedEx Priority Overnight shipping, and they took that money and gave me FedEx Home Delivery shipping instead, which is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than what I paid for. So they basically took my money and bought me a cheap shipping option that would still get it to me overnight, just not for the amount I paid. And they pocketed the rest. I get that they're a business and that they have to make a profit, but they already made a profit off of the laptop, which cost $1,700 and some extra dollars after taxes. They should have given me a more fair and decent shipping option. I will definitely be reaching out to Customer Service and looking for a shipping refund for that. Because I know for a fact that FedEx Home Delivery shipping is nowhere near as expensive as what I paid to have it overnighted to me. Not by a long shot! Bad business choice on their part. Otherwise, solid and wonderful machine!

As many of you know when we first all purchased the Oculus 2 Quest by Meta, within a few months the controllers began to develop a drifting issue making playing some of our favorite things nearly impossible. And we all knew it wasn't just us, a single buyer, it was everybody. There was a glitch in the manufacturing. Well thanks to having my geek squad protection, I was able to go in explain to them what was happening and they just handed us a brand new Oculus Quest 2 and apologized for the issue. I was out of there in 10 minutes. So of course that had me sold. So when I purchased an iPad and something happened, I once again took it to geek squad and they replaced it on the spot brand new. If you're buying electronics especially expensive ones the extra $100 (usually) is not going to kill you but rather save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I made the mistake of not purchasing geek squad when I got an $800 CASH cell phone with a projector and I tried to take the screen to get fixed by supposed professionals and they made it even worse. Don't think for one second accidents won't happen to you no matter how safe you are with your appliances. When they talk about electrical surges & your electronics not turning back on, it's not a joke. I lost a 72 inch TV that way and an Xfinity modem. Luckily the Xfinity modem was only rented and I was able to get another one but my point is I was out $800 on the TV all because of one freak storm and me trying to save a hundred bucks by not buying geek squad warranty protection. So let me say this The geek squad has saved my family thousands of dollars and I really appreciate it.

The claim process is generally simple—you file online or in-store, and in many cases, they repair or replace the device pretty quickly. That said, the plan isn’t cheap for just a year of coverage, so if you’re someone who’s careful with your electronics, you might feel like you’re paying for protection you’ll never use. Still, for the peace of mind it provides, many people find it worth the cost.

Good protection plan for accidental damage. It gives peace of mind knowing support is available if something goes wrong. Easy to understand and useful for protecting electronics. Definitely worth having.

The accidental protection allowed my computer to be replaced when it became damaged and it couldn’t be fixed

I always buy these warranties from Best Buy and when I need to use them, the service is always prompt and helpful. Always buy the warranty!

Very good laptop for daily use. Fast performance, bright display and smooth multitasking. Battery life is decent and build quality feels solid. Happy with the purchase!

Never actually had to submit any claims! Ive gone to Greensboro NC, and to american dream locations. Both ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This a really good anti virus software. But honestly it took longer to install it.

This isn't a fair question. The Chromebook was purchased a month ago and haven't needed to use the warranty. I hope we won't have to.

We got this for my new laptop. I can breathe easier knowing that my laptop is covered and if I have questions or a problem, help is not far away.

Laptop is high quality and got it for a great sale price

I have found the laptop to be fast and responsive, but one should expect that out of this generation of Ryzen 7 processor. I have always been impressed by Lenovo products. They may not have all of the bells and whistles as other brands, but they are dependable workhorses, a nd in the end, that is truly what I want from a laptop. I will give a demerit to the Geek Squad though. I purchased an open box item that was supposed to be restored to factory settings. It was not restored with a network adapter driver which makes setting Windows 11 up difficult. Fortunately, I am a geek and had a usb-c to RJ45 connecter adaptor. On the plus side though, it did not have all of the bloat ware.

I have great expectations for this warranty package deal, I hope it helps with issues that may arise with this product
