Slow and Breaking

This device is very slow, but I was attempting to deal with it in order to do my work. The first issue I noticed was after setup and downloading windows updates. Selecting "update and restart" and the device never restarts; it just stays off. Next it froze up on me and I had to do a hard reset to force shutdown and restart. Earlier today I had a hard time getting it to turn on from cold start. It was significantly delayed. I just ordered a device directly from one of the big names. I'm returning this device.

Defective Item
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop seems fast and capable, Shipped from BBY to my house, requiring a signature.... was left on my doorstep, indicating that I signed for it, I was at work, imagine the Horror seeing the tracking number and it showing Delivered and signed for..... Opening the Laptop everything seemed ok, Sound seemed off. Further inspection indicated the right speaker was dead. Preformed all the updates, Windows and from the manufacturer, issue persist. Bluetooth audio worked good, so did plugging in Headphones. Checked settings in Bios and Windows. It uses a non UEFI bios, which is a bit weird for a new laptop. Restored the system to factory Settings, but the issue remained I will have to return the defective Device Other than the speaker, the system is built well, packaged, securely and seems like a nice laptop. The fan is really loud under load, and the built in Control Software was annoying, but I didn't really customize it.

okay, expecting more from Asus
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wide-screen, IPS. Wide, okay for watching videos, I would have proffered something taller and less wide. Nice resolution, IPS. Only 4GB RAM, not able to extend to more. Not really usable for Windows 10, and barely usable for Linux. Otherwise decent hardware, Kingston SSD, Intel WiFi card. Works fine with Manjaro Linux. I would have liked to be able to use 8GB memory and a taller display.

Laptop keyboard going out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the phone trying to get a hold of customer service almost 4 hours. I was hung up on 3 times and got several different answers. I any of your agents put notes in the system when they speak to you. I want to know why they wanted me to pay $ 79.99 for shipping of my laptop for repairs to a company because they do not have any service available in store. I paid extra for the protection. When they Ctrl key off the laptop within the first 2 months of having it they shipped it right off and they replaced the entire keyboard.I finally got a hold or an online agent and he said that he would waive the normal shipping fee, I don't understand that price should be absorbed if you paid for the protection. What is the reason for having in store agents if just about everything has to be sent out. The 3rd agent that I had on the line told me that on top of the $79.99 i would have to pay for any replacement hardware. I asked WHY? Then she said let look at your plan. Then I was told you are covered up to $ 799.99 worth of repairs. You guys need to get it together. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for the box and then 2-3 weeks for repairs. Terrible

2nd Laptop Samsung Book4 Pro360 Poor Support.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the 2nd Samsung Book 4 Pro 360 I bought from Best Buy in 1 month. Both had problems with the camera, or rather no camera video. Since it was over 2 weeks old, it could not be returned at Best Buy. Geek Squad could not fix it either. I'm now dealing with Samsung who requires it to be sent to them for repair. 2 brand new Best Buy laptops, both with the same problem. Coincidence or an inferior product? How about Best Buy replacing the laptop again? I've paid someone to transfer my data twice, and soon to be a 3rd time. It's quite frustrating for a top of the line laptop.

Wrong size?

No help at all

Everyone is just passing me to a different person or number and I am going circles. If this is the same support I would get when there is an actual problem then I don't want it. Every single person I have been in contact with is from India and didn't have the slightest knowledge to help me in my simple case. Would not recommend

I purchased many times with this store only to find out it was the worst decision I made! When we first purchased the warranty we were told it was totally covered. When we asked for a pamphlet to see what was covered, they said "Don't even worry about it. Everything is covered." Mind you, we were told this by two different sales people. Now, that we need the service it is being denied. So we went back to ask ANOTHER sales person and he said "That's weird. It should be covered. That doesn't make sense." When we take it to the manager of Best Buy and a Geek Squad member we are being told we are supposed to know it wouldn't be covered before we even bought the product or warranty. How are we supposed to know about it?! We are not experts! So the only way we would know about it is when we get denied, and then they explain it to us. When I purchase a product and I'm promised a service, I expect that service to be provided. We are being promised a service at the time of sale and only finding out when it is denied that it isn't true. ABSOLUTE SCAM! My family, friends, and I will be taking our service elsewhere.
