I had to buy a new computer because my old All-in-One was using Windows 7, and Microsoft kept alerting me that they would no longer support that system. So, I purchased my new PC at Best Buy, and then took in my old computer and asked the Geek Squad to transfer all of my data to the new one. I had lots of files, including many email files, and I was worried because at first one of the associates told me that the emails couldn't be transferred. But then "Hutch" took over, and he was not only able to transfer all my files, he also set everything up for me and made sure that I understood how to use all of it. (And for an "older grandma" in her 70's, that was VERY important!) I can't thank Hutch enough for all of his help, and I highly recommend the Geek Squad for everything technical! (They'll even come out to your house and set up your TV for you!) Thanks, Hutch, and all of you Geeks!

[Employee of bestbuy] I love my geek squad protection plans. I get them on everything I buy just because you never know what can happen, and knowing that something happens im covered is worth every dollar.

I always buy this with a major purchase of over a few hundred dollars. Mostly I don't have to use it, but I have had a couple of purchases that just didn't hold up and had to be sent in and repaired by Geek Squad several times.

I live by Geeksqad and what they offer. Iused them all through school.

Computer arrived and just installed it, everything runs great out of box.

Our HP all-in-1 was knocked off the desk, hit the chair and landed on the floor. The mishap resulted in a cracked screen and the computer would not power on. Took it to the Geek Squad. They had it repaired and ready for pick up in less than a week. Cost to repair would have been $800 if we didn't have this 2-year accidental protection; so this plan is worth every penny.

Always gotta have this protection - anything can happen its quick and easy for repairs

Just having a protection service is always useful, so i think this is awesome.

Fast and effective. My laptop broke. Got it back in a week. Works brand new.. (also way better than walmarts warranty system lol)

We cannot say enough nice things about our very pleasant experience with Beavertonś Geek Squad agent Christopher this past weekend. He was very polite, helpful, courteous, and got the job done well and in a timely manner. His calm demeanor and incredible expertise had my son and me feeling better in a matter of seconds with our new gaming computer that was not working properly. We knew we were in excellent hands with Chris. He even went above and beyond by offering to set up our Windows 10 before we came to pick up our PC. Then, after we checked out, to finish the job in complete style, he carried our tower out to our car! Christopher really is one-of-a-kind! A real gem! Anyone lucky enough to have him help you will be very happy he did!

[Employee of bestbuy] I love the GSP plans that I buy i know that I have the peace of mind that I'm able to drop my device off and it either going to get fixed or replaced, but with Desktops and laptops they also offer data backup services which are critical, I always buy the protection plans cause once the one year MFG warranty expires your paying out of pocket and it gets expensive.

I just wanted to protect my pc in case of accident. Not bad insurance l, just a lil pricey.

The best warranty program for the price,you cannot get it anywhere else.

It's nice to have a warranty like this for when something breaks down, and knowing that there are people I can talk to and work with directly when an expensive device I just bought starts having issues is certainly a reassuring thought. Though a warranty like this also depends on if it's actually needed and the skill of the Geek Squad member who deals with it. Generally, it's good to have but I wouldn't suggest getting it for every single purchase, just the really expensive ones!
