I usually avoid extended warranties; many companies use them as a way to further boost profits by charging more than they expect to pay out on average. But Best Buy has very good replacement policies and especially on some products which may have a higher risk of damage or are expensive to replace, I usually do get the warranty. I've made use of the warranty once or twice. Biggest problem with corded headsets in the past has been a wire coming loose somewhere in the cable; then it doesn't work right. If you are careful with them they last a long time, but accidents do happen. I went with the warranty.

I generally take very good care of my items, but having this as an option is great when other people don't really take care of my stuff.

It works great. It's the best mouse I have had for gaming!

I have told this to everyone I get to know and will continue to, BESTBUY HAS THE BEST REPLACEMENT POLICY OUT THERE. FULL STOP. If you have ANYTHING you think you would want to get replaced in 2 years and it has problems, then you can just return it and get a new one! This plan can be very cheap and great for things like gaming console controllers, which I often find myself replacing every 6 month. I just take it in, get a new controller and then pay 1 quarter of the price of a new controller, and just get a new plan on top of that and repeat. Worth every penny!

Geek squad protection is great for ease of mind. Better to have it and not need it than to not have it and need it!

This option is great, especially if you are prone to accidentally breaking things, like I am- It is a good coverage for relying on the unexpected that may occur- I would recommend this purchase for your keyboard/mouse product- Have worked with Geek Squad before, no complaints

Best keyboard for your office computer, very good price

Definitely worth the extra cost! I previously bought Microsoft's Wireless Desktop 850 Mouse/Keyboard combo and both failed due to poor quality within 6 mos. of purchase. If I had paid for this warranty, Best Buy would have replaced at no extra cost. Unfortunately, I didn't purchase that warranty for the 850, so I had to buy a new mouse and keyboard. I now have new equipment, both Logitech, and I have them both protected with this warranty!

Never had any problems using this 2 year protection and returning the product

Always use protection I always get the protection plans and while I don’t always need them, any product that gets heavy use has a higher chance of breaking down due to wear and tear in the two years. Generally all it takes is 1 out of 20 products to go bad in two years and you essentially break even on the money you spend on multiple protection plans.

I always get protection plans for my electronics because you never know when you might have something in need of repair. I've had to use a Geek Squad plan once, though not a replacement, and they were quick and very helpful at both diagnosing and helping to fix the problem!
