Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it is NOT reliable because it showed nothing in the finder window while it has 3gig. when I click to get info on my mac it showed that has the 3 gigs taken however the content are nowhere to be seen. so I have to unplug and replug and the problem persists. this happened while I have other external drives plug and never had such a weird experience. I contacted their support they are lousy and slow and unhelpful. so It is not recommended. I will return it because my data is matters and the backup supposes to be the safe house, not a flake house, and that clearly what is WD is.
