I usually avoid extended warranties; many companies use them as a way to further boost profits by charging more than they expect to pay out on average. But Best Buy has very good replacement policies and especially on some products which may have a higher risk of damage or are expensive to replace, I usually do get the warranty. I've made use of the warranty once or twice. Biggest problem with corded headsets in the past has been a wire coming loose somewhere in the cable; then it doesn't work right. If you are careful with them they last a long time, but accidents do happen. I went with the warranty.

Truly worth the extra cost! I previously bought a Microsoft Mouse/Keyboard combo (Wireless Desktop 850), and didn't purchase this extra protection. Within 6 mos., the keyboard letters began wearing away and the mouse began to malfunction due to a bad USB receiver. Too late to return, so I was faced with purchasing new equipment. Had I bought this warranty, I would have simply brought it back to Best Buy and received a replacement. I'll never make this mistake again.

I haven’t had any issues with geek squad ever. They’re usually really helpful with what I need, and if the product isn’t repairable they’ll give you a gift card for the value of the item.

I bought this because of the key feedback and the keys weren't extra loud. I have a baby and my OG keyboard was just too loud. The wireless functionality is great. The light features and different profile sets offer a great experience if you play multiple games. The build is solid and sleek. Overall a really good keyboard.

Geek squad is always amazing. You could never go wrong and they are always super fair.

Every time something has broken I was able to bring it in and get a replacement with no problems. Other stores sometimes make it a complicated process, but since they pretty much cover everything you don't really have to worry.

Love this service! I have used the replacement service on a few devices that I've purchased in the store and every time I've needed to use it the service has been nothing but phenomenal. They have your service record on file, help you find a replacement and get you all taken care of in the store without having to wait days or weeks for a replacement to be mailed to you. It's definitely worth the investment on certain products!

I don’t think the warranty from Best Buy is worth it anymore what they do now is go threw the manufacturer first never using your Best Buy warranty unlesss it goes longer than the manufacturer which these days is 2 years and if your product doesn’t have issues within 2 years it most likely won’t and will be outdated with these fast advancements

Extremely good keyboard. Keys are very smooth an works a lot better than my last keyboard.

For an item like my son's iPad case and being taken to and from high school each day, this was one replacement plan I felt was worth the extra cost to ensure his case functions through his last year of high school and first year of college later this year. Felt it was reasonably price in comparison to other plans warranties and Geek Squad keeps things simple when you have issues versus playing phone tag with outsourced warranty companies.

I have told this to everyone I get to know and will continue to, BESTBUY HAS THE BEST REPLACEMENT POLICY OUT THERE. FULL STOP. If you have ANYTHING you think you would want to get replaced in 2 years and it has problems, then you can just return it and get a new one! This plan can be very cheap and great for things like gaming console controllers, which I often find myself replacing every 6 month. I just take it in, get a new controller and then pay 1 quarter of the price of a new controller, and just get a new plan on top of that and repeat. Worth every penny!
