I always buy geek squad protection on open box items as well as computer accessories.

Took my laptop in for a diagnostic check up and update that we were having trouble doing ourselves. Also the track pad and volume was acting funky. They fixed it in a day or so and haven’t had any problems with it since then! They were really friendly and made sure to explain what was the problem and the steps they took to solve it. I always get the plan for these reasons

I buy alot electronic devices cameras, gaming consoles computers and everytime i buy the warranty because i know some of the will eventually ware off so everytime i go to the store the process its really fast and effective so thats why i always buy with best buy and a warranty with geek squad

Very easy to make claims on. I had a replacement plan. I just walked in and they exchanged it for same product on the spot hassle free. And i was able to repurchase a protection plan on the new item to keep it going. Which saved me well over 100 dollars. Which is why i strictly buy my electronics from this store.

Bought the geek squad warranty for my keyboard as it wasn’t too expensive, unfortunately my keyboard started to act up but the warranty let me exchange it for a new one a year later. Definitely recommend GSP on your heavy use devices

Always worth it for those times you go OOPS, did that several times this year for the most part Best Buy and Geek Squad were helpful in a fast and effiecient manner. Only problem I had was when I crashed my drone and it took them two weeks to tell me they were just going to give me my money back, usually they do it there and then not sure what that was about but other than that yea I guess just dont forget to check in on status of items just to be safe so they dont lose you in the system

Excellent protection plan, I love that it's totally upfront and there's no technicalities that they might use against you. You show them the product, explain what happened, and they take care of it from there. I always get it when I purchase important or difficult to replace products!
