All good, except the short USB cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review covers 1) the physical drive, 2) its performance, and 3) Western Digital's warranty service (Easystore is a Western Digital line for Best Buy), 4) miscellaneous items: 1) -- The drive feels solid. -- The USB cable is 16" long (or short, in a manner of speaking). If you want a longer cable, then you will need a "Micro B" connector for the side that plugs into the drive. The other end of the cable will likely be "Type A" or "Type C", depending on the port on your computer. -- The drive gets warm, after long periods of use -- but not hot. 2) -- The drive writes at 115 MB/s. I have not tested the read speed, but drives are normally as fast, or faster, at reading. -- The drive has a tiny, but rather bright light on the side where the USB cable connects. The light will stay on solid, when the drive is idle. The light will blink, when the drive is busy. I have not yet discovered what the light will do when the drive sleeps. I suspect it will go to a slow blink. 3) Western Digital makes warranty claims a nightmare. So why did I purchase this Western Digital drive, knowing the drama that awaits me if the drive should fail? Their drives are reliable. So when Best Buy put this one on sale, I purchased it. If I were rating this drive only on the warranty, I would give it 1 star (or zero, if that was an option). Western Digital can give a lifetime warranty, and it is meaningless if you have to part the red sea to get a replacement. 4) -- Some folks have stated in their reviews that the drive comes with a proprietary cable, and it is short, and cannot be replaced (because it is a proprietary cable). Yes, the cable is short. No, the cable is not proprietary (see #1, above, for what to purchase for a longer cable, and make sure it is 3.0 (or higher) rated). -- Some folks are complaining that the drive is very slow. That is likely due to them not providing adequate power to the drive. They might be using a HUB, with another self-powered drive, or charging their iPad, or running a USB powered fan, etc, and that will cause the drive to slow down, or become inoperative. -- Test your drive during the window that Best Buy will take it back. If you give it to someone as a gift, and it turns out to be a dud, then they will likely have a hard time dealing with the warranty. If the drive is loud, or vibrates more than ever so slightly, then return it to Best Buy while you can. Cheers!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I used to have a smaller desk and got myself a *mini* keyboard to use on that desk. After some PC upgrades and a larger desk, I wanted to go back to a full keyboard. I spent some time looking online and walking through the store but kept getting put off by the price of these $100+ keyboards. I already had a $90 mini and while it was cool with the RGB I couldn't figure out the price. I was just about to give up and stay with my smaller keyboard and I saw this on the end shelf. I was like no way a full keyboard with RGB is going to be $35. I checked the reviews and saw that it was highly reviewed but I know that you can only trust reviews so much. But with the price I decided to go for it. I can honestly say that I am so impressed by this *cheap* keyboard that I am taking the time to write a review before I start my gaming session. The keys feel responsive, the RGB with the "AI reactive RGB" is wonderful, and everything just meets my expectations. Highly recommend this over spending about $150 for a different company full size keyboard because they have some fancy logo and probably got exposure by sending them to Youtubers to show off.

Recommend this mouse with the powerplay pad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this mouse. I use it in tandem with the powerplay rechargeable pad and I never have to worry about running low on battery. I personally would recommend using it with the powerplay pad. Otherwise, just another wireless mouse where you could probably find a cheaper alternative.

Great product, it gets the job done.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this keyboard earlier today,, I honestly don't know what the fuss is about with the bad reviews on it.. I immediately noticed right out of the gate how much easier it was to type and to be able to see the lettering and the numbers on this keyboard. I currently have a 65 dollar Razor membrane keyboard that is suppose to be comparable to a 120 dollar mechanical keyboard.. It has one problem just like the ones like it by corsair, and razor that plagues the keys. And that is the over the top RGB between the keys that are suppose to be able to allow you to see the numbers and lettering under the keycaps. Now if your like me, you might have your monitor right in front of your keyboard.. Depending on the kind of monitor, and brightness, it can actually make it harder to see the keys your pressing if your not a key typer that can type without looking at the keyboard. This G910 only has the RGB showing through the lettering and the numbers, so this makes it a lot easier to see what your typing. The plus side is the RGB is bright enough to see without having to strain your vision. The keys have a very subtle and satisfying click stroke to them, so when you hit the keys on the keyboard, the click is nice. The best thing about this keyboard is it has all the features these 200+ dollar keyboards have. I can understand this keyboard isn't for everyone, but for the price, it packs a lot of the same features you can get out of a 200+ dollar keyboard, and it's bigger, and better built in my opinion.

Great keyboard, love the feedback.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great, compact keyboard for a daily user. At first, I was not impressed with the keyboard. The keys didn't feel stable and had quite a bit of wobble. I ended up purchasing the K270 thinking it would be better. I was wrong. I did quite a bit of keyboard testing on both to compare. I average around 105wpm on medium word difficulty and found this keyboard to be the most accurate and fastest response. After countless tests it really came back to the haptic feedback. The keys just feel better when you punch them. It's a hard press, and you know when you punched the key. With the K270 I noticed that half the time I didn't know if I punched the key all the way, and my words would get misspelled. I started questioning my spelling, not based on the visual on the screen, but knowing my key strokes were running into each other. This really isn't a good thing for a fast typist. We need to trust the feel of the keystroke. The only con I have for this keyboard is the layout. After a couple weeks I'm still getting used to the non-traditional layout because my hands know where the Delete button, arrow keys, and numpad is traditionally located. Provided time, I'm sure I'll get more used to it, but right now it's baby steps.

BEST KEYBOARD I'VE EVER HAD!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Omgg RUN, DON'T WALK to buy this keyboard!! Holy cannoli, this keyboard puts Apple's keyboard to shame!! I wasted $120 on the Apple keyboard. The Apple's keyboard keys are SO FLAT, my fingers would inadvertently slip and hit the wrong key. There is just no depth when pushing down on the Apple keys so it causes your fingers to slip when you're typing fast. This Logitech keyboard has beautiful depth when hitting the keys!! It pushes down, nice and deep so you can't slip when typing. There are is no inadvertent slipping whatsoever, the lights on the keyboard are gorgeous and it has a nice, sturdy weight to it. Didn't need the dongle it came with either, it perfectly synced with my MAC in seconds. I'm so glad I ditched the Apple keyboard for this. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A USB-C adapter that has a regular USB at the other end so you can charge the keyboard. The newer MACS have the USB-C connection, but anything older than 3 years old doesn't have it so just pick up a cheap USB-C to USB adapter before you check out and you'll be set. Just love this keyboard!! Thank you Logitech!!

MOST AMAZING KEYBOARD EVER! EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been searching for the right keyboard for about 3 months. I work remotely on night shift. I thought i needed illuminated keyboard so i went through 3 of those with no luck. My roommate had this keyboard for her Apple and I fell in love with it but thought it was not compatible with Windows. I was surprisingly wrong! I spoke with Andrew at Best Buy on Chat and he gave me the wonderful news that I could use this with Windows! This is by far, the best keyboard yet! The keys click quietly. They feel amazing and easy to type without errors. I type consistently for 8-10 hrs at my job so I needed something that felt good and just had the right keys. BEST FEELING KEYBOARD EVER!! The Solar aspect is amazing! No wires or batteries. Worked immediately out of the box. Put under lamp or sunlight. I work in dim light at night and its enough to keep it charged. I have nothing but good things to say about this keyboard. My search has ended thanks to Best Buy and Andrew James who helped me in Chat. Thank you so much!! Now I look forward to going to work with my new keyboard!
