I love geek squad warranties especially Accidental damage. You pay a small fee and if quite literally anything happens to it, it gets replaced for free and you can add another warranty on new item.

I bought it when I purchased my boyfriends Ps5 and it ended up coming in hand when his console eventually started getting older and messing up. I had to replace my keyboard and im glad i got the warranty. It was extremely simple to swap it out, maybe 5-10 minutes. Took it in, said its not working, got a new one. I ended up getting store credit because they didnt have the same model, but i got one that cost more and was on sale, which was within the limit of the credit.

I just needed something to get the job done and this did that perfectly. Ive had no issues with this product.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

This was purchased for an SSD. I do this for all my electronics and I am an Elite services subscriber as well. It is very nice to be able to get on the Best Buy site, login and start a chat with a Geek Squad agent to resolve issues on my 4 PCs. When something requiring them to physically work on a machine happens, I make an appointment, take it in and its either resolved while I wait or I come back a day or two later, and its covered in cost of the elite subscription. For me, it makes total sense to have that peace of mind. Lastly, when you are considering a purchase, its great to get on a chat session and ask them the pros and cons of a purchase. My last was a color laser printer and upcoming will be a heavy duty (gaming type) laptop for design work. There are details they provided I would never have known.

Geek Squad insurance is worth having, just in case you need them.
