Even though the extended warranty starts after the manufacturer warranty, it starts losing value immediately. We purchased a 2 year extended warranty that extended the manufacturer's 1 year warranty on our computer tower. However, when we had the unit serviced under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty due to performance issues, Best Buy "totaled" the tower and gave us a full refund. HOWEVER, when we purchased the new tower, we had to pay EXTRA for the new 2 year extended warranty. Even though we were still within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, Best Buy charged us extra to purchase the extended warranty (on top of our refund for that warranty) because some of the time had lapsed. So, you purchase two extra years which are supposed to start after the manufacturer's warranty, BUT the time starts ticking immediately in regards to to the value of the warranty.

It’s a pretty deal for 2 years of warranty. It’s a must have if have children or have a lot of get together.

Hope I dont have to use this, but this is my third keyboard in 2 years, so decided for 2 year extended warranty.

I back everything up, just in case. Sprays good to insure things.

I am going to try to avoid using this but hopefully if I do, I will have no problems getting the help.

Low quality numbers keys slowlt stopped working after a few months and many didn work at all after 5 months. Second time buying this same keyboard. This happene both times.

Not bad but I'd rather buy a new product then wait for geek squad to get back with my repair

I love everything about this keyboard except the letters continue to wear off within a year

Basically this protection plan was purchased in the event something went wrong with this product.

Never needed to use it. Thankfully, everything worked as it should.

Geek squad is very helpful, every time I buy a product at bestbuy, I always buy geek squad insurance.

Decent keyboard but does not last as long as you would expect. Parts wear out to fast.

Its very pick and choose on things they can truly help you with.

Bought it, have not had ot use it yet, but it seemed like a good deal and they are close to the house.

Got this protecting for 3 years to protect a 50 dollar pair of headphones so hope it works out lol

When I purchased the warranty, I could send in the product or they would come to my home. They changed the terms and I had to beg for them to send me a label to retain it as I would have had to drive hours otherwise to personally return this to a store.

i should stop buying these because i never use them or forget i have it. but i keep buying them.
