    Honestly best buys fix or replace warranty is incredibly straightforward and honestly very good. I've had no issues with it yet and it's flexible while maintaining good service which is hard for a lot of warranties to do. The downside however, is if you start breaking your devices constantly it's gonna cost you a lot. But that's an issue that you have to fix yourself, not best buy. This warranty is specifically meant to outlast the manufacturer warranty and MAYBE, on rare cases of accidental damage or just straight up laziness, be easy to use to get an instant, no fuss replacement at your local best buy store.

    Geek squads accidental insurance comes in clutch

    I Always get geek squads accidental insurance. It's good to haave if your clumsy like me. It's peace of mind to have geek squad insurance if anything happens even after the manufacturer insurance expires.

    The protection plan is great. You can return it in any condition, no questions asked. They have a yearly option as well that covers all devices bought through best buy. If you shop here often, then its worth it.

    Geek Squad Rules where Excellence is important

    I don't foresee the probability of something to go wrong and needing the Geek Squad to work on this. I bought 2 - one for me and one for my daughter. With the 2 year warranty on both of them, and the Geek Squad's proximity, I think that it is well protected for any of those "Oh no, nothing can possibly happen ."... moments! There's no Murphy's Law worry....???

    Needed to swap my old keyboard out, and GSP made it easy. Exchanged and paid the difference willingly for a better / more expensive keyboard. Makes it a nice gradient towards better products while keeping my business. Great work

    Geek Squad ran my pockets for fun

    When my corsair virtuoso XT broke I went in hoping to exchange in store but unfortunately it wasn’t in stock. I grabbed a different headset as a part of the exchange but it wasn’t up to my standards of use. When I went to return it the bestbuy store ended up charging me full pricing of my original headset as opposed to the sales price I had originally bought it for. I ended up losing so much money because bestbuy couldn’t honor their own system. Then when I realized bestbuy did not prioritize any customer satisfaction or service I was backed into a corner since all my money was tied up in these transactions. If I left with nothing I’m out of money. If I order it again I still lose money. Bestbuy was horrible in this entire transaction I had multiple employees “express” sympathy as it’s “corporate” for every scapegoat they needed. When I asked for additional support they advised me to seek out a corporate email on my own and write something. No complaint filing in store no reference to any higher management and no support. The service desk was uninterested, unsupportive, and all rotating staff to not be responsible for my transactions. Everyone acknowledged the receipt discrepancies but no one wanted to help or see if there’s anything to be done. Just “that’s the way it is” and passed off to the next in their chain of command unprompted. Horrible experience.
