Have never had to use it, and I hope I never do, but it always pays to have the extra protection just in case. Best Buy always strives to sell products that last, but that doesn't mean the occasional bad apple doesn't slip through, so the extra protection is well worth it.

I always purchase Best Buy's 2-Year Accidental GSP (Geek Squad Protection) whenever available for any electronics purchase. The GSP covers any mechanical and electrical failure as well as accidental spills and/or drops. I highly recommend it!

GSP is a must have for any product you purchase! It extends your warranty and helps to deal with any accidents, issues, or defects that occur outside your return window or Manufacturer warranty. They are 100% worth the price, regardless of what item you purchase them with!

of course I have geek squad protection- it's easier than the manufacturer that's for sure

When you have children getting extra protection is the best way to go.

I put geek squad protection and accidental damage and handling on everything. with a dog that has a very waggy and dangerous tail, it is nice to know that when her excitement might mean the death of my electronics, but not the death of my wallet

If your mouse or keyboard doesn't work or its broken. You can get a replacement or get store credit to get something else! BEST WARRANTY EVER! Worth the money!

Amazing mouse would only like to not have the side panels peel off. GET THE GSP!!!! If the side pieces peel off as it did on mine you can trade it out for a new one, but the mouse is extremely comfortable for me. Great for long hours of hw or gaming.

Purchased a faulty hard drive, and the Geek Squad tested the device, Rayan went through extremes to get my drive replaced. Rayan recommended a warranty, and it was totally worth the price.

I love the fact that the geek squad warranty is so much better now! It used to be ok but now for any reason, even if my own dumb fault, they will replace it! You can accidentally spill water on it and will be no big deal…just take it back with your warranty!

I’ve had to use the GSP a handful of times due to accidental damage. I’ve never had trouble warrantying an item, I’ve had to use it on controllers and mice over the years.

This is a great card and i will invest in more later

Great gaming keyboard that my wife loves. We are a huge gaming family and needing a great keyboard is a must. Bonus is that we get geek squad protection on it as well.

Depending on the item my husband and I always get the extra protection especially if it’s a wear and tear item and know it has potential to break or wear out quicker than usual. I also like that you go directly back to bestbuy and don’t have to deal with the MFG of the item!

Who doesn't love knowing there product is protected! No brainer to add this protection when it covers accidental damages that may happen. Well worth it and Geek Squad has always done a great job taking care of us.
