    So Easy to Return & Replace a Product!

    Although it's usually the best advice to avoid product warranties, I've come to love Best Buy's Geek Squad service. I've easilly replaced several tech items that've malfunctioned soon after the manufacturers warranties have run out. Normally I'd be stuck with a broken and useless item, but instead I just walked into my local Best Buy, handed in the defective item and immediately received a brand new replacement. Quick and very easy.

    Truly worth the extra cost! I previously bought a Microsoft Mouse/Keyboard combo (Wireless Desktop 850), and didn't purchase this extra protection. Within 6 mos., the keyboard letters began wearing away and the mouse began to malfunction due to a bad USB receiver. Too late to return, so I was faced with purchasing new equipment. Had I bought this warranty, I would have simply brought it back to Best Buy and received a replacement. I'll never make this mistake again.

    Love this service! I have used the replacement service on a few devices that I've purchased in the store and every time I've needed to use it the service has been nothing but phenomenal. They have your service record on file, help you find a replacement and get you all taken care of in the store without having to wait days or weeks for a replacement to be mailed to you. It's definitely worth the investment on certain products!

    Replacement of gaming keyboard was a breeze once we survived the poorly designed navigation of the automated website and phone systems. The representatives were courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful while we worked out what to do since the keyboard we wanted was no longer available.

    They have installed screen protectors for my phone and alliwed me to exchange damaged items within warranty quickly. I appreciate that they are quick and helpful.

    By far the leading protection you can find for brick-and-mortar or online retailers alike. The best for your money and absolutely no hassle. I can’t say enough about it. Never make an electronics purchase without it.

    For an item like my son's iPad case and being taken to and from high school each day, this was one replacement plan I felt was worth the extra cost to ensure his case functions through his last year of high school and first year of college later this year. Felt it was reasonably price in comparison to other plans warranties and Geek Squad keeps things simple when you have issues versus playing phone tag with outsourced warranty companies.

    Best Buy Warranties - often a good deal

    I usually avoid extended warranties; many companies use them as a way to further boost profits by charging more than they expect to pay out on average. But Best Buy has very good replacement policies and especially on some products which may have a higher risk of damage or are expensive to replace, I usually do get the warranty. I've made use of the warranty once or twice. Biggest problem with corded headsets in the past has been a wire coming loose somewhere in the cable; then it doesn't work right. If you are careful with them they last a long time, but accidents do happen. I went with the warranty.
