It allows you to return them whenever in a two year window so you can upgrade if you want or just when you get bored of them you get your money back and get another pair.

However you should also a manufacturer's warranty to get an actual repair technician to come to your place of residence.

You can get your item fixed and also keep entertained while waiting.
