I recommend to buy the protection, In case of any accidents or anything I know it will come in handy. It is for 3 years, you never know what could happen plus your computer or tablet is an investment just like a phone when you buy a phone case, this is just like that to have your assets protected in case of anything. I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 in January 2017 with a Geek Squad Protect and Support Plus plan in Texas. Yesterday, I took the device to Best Buy in Port Richey, FL because the screen constantly vibrated. The Geek Squad technician quickly diagnosed the problem, determined that the item was not repairable, and gave me a gift card for the amount of my original purchase. I would definitely recommend the purchase of a Protect and Support plan. It saved me. I was able to go home with the perfect 2 in 1 laptop with another Protect and Support Plus plan.

Love my tablet. No complaints at this time. Would recommend for any ages.

Geek squad is the best very helpful and very easy to understand returns and exchanges

We purchased an add 2 yr warranty for the computers. However when we toom wife's 2 ur old computer to be cleaned-we have had NOTHING but problems w the computer. It was dropped-noone told us. Battery damage & replaced BUT was not keeping charged...after 3-4x taking it back..the WHOLE OS was checked & wiped cleaned. Every thing was lost & even the flash drive we purchased was lost. We are not happy w the service that has been provided ti my wife's computer. We are hoping that there is NO OTHER damage to comp & if so we will continue to complain & a new comp will be demanded.

Geek Squad service us the best! Iorth every penny. I had an issue with a tablet and made an appointment by phone. There was no waiting and the tech resolved the problem in minutes.

Absolutely pathetic service I spend over 200 on the pathetic 2-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection just to have my Surface pro start boot looping after I tried to factory reset it. Just to be told o sorry “ you have to send it Microsoft or pay more money to have Windows reinstalled”. I’m sorry but what you b.u.ms are telling me I should’ve said I broke it. How in the world is the reinstallation of windows not covered and now I must send to Microsoft. Thanks for nothing deceitful scammers.

The protection plan is worth what you pay for it. If they cannot fix the item, they replace it.

haven't had to use this as of yet. From what I have heard depending on the issue. should be easy. Some geek squad employees are better than others. Most are gamer type and don't really know much more that what a computer can do outside of gaming
