This protection is better them factor warranty....

I know if anything happens to my camera I'm covered.

I haven't used this before. but hopefully it works out when the time comes for my use of the warranty.

havent had to use this but was inexpensive and almost insurance if camera was dropped or broken

Returned camera after Chinese water-housing for it was received damaged. Never got to use it.

We purchased Sony alpha 7ii camera in 2016 with 2 year accidental damage protection plan. We gave it to Best Buy secaucus ,NJ store for cleaning while our camera still had protection plan . A month later I get a call from Best Buy saying your camera is ready for pick up, we go to the store and notice the camera hasn’t been cleaned at all, it’s even dirtier then when we left it there. The customer service rep helping us noticed the camera wasn’t sent out for cleaning at all and it was just sitting in the store for a MONTH. We were asked to give it back for cleaning but we had to leave for a trip and by the time we came back our service plan was expired. We went back to the store to activate our service to give it back for cleaning however now the stores refuses to activate the plan and recommends calling geek squad. I have been back and forth with geek squad for last 4 weeks and they keep blaming each other for the issue. I just need to get my camera cleaned, I didn’t know it was such a big deal. Best Buy customer service is going down the drain.

Buy a the time of purchase, you can not go wrong with this purchase. That protection is a must!

Geek squad knows what there doing helpfull people.

Great addition for items less than $1000 any more your item depreciates considerably and it’s not worth the extra expense

Had an issue with my camera and they quickly where able to detect the problem and help me with it .

Love the quality of the photos that the lense provides

They said it cover lens cleaning. I hope it is worth it. I hear the mirrorless cameras are prone to dirt.
