Tough to review when I just bought it and haven't had a chance to use it yet for my camera. But I am sure it will be great!

Bad service, it lasted approximately 2 months to “repair”, they returned it with the part they were going to repair, and they did not do the repair, in the end they had to give me back the money and buy another Sony a7iv

having the accidental plan is great when you have kids

They did not know what they were doing with my Mac and Canon M50. I ordered the creative studio Canon M50. The Rode mic didn't work, but the camera worked fine. However, I had to return the entire thing because I didn't want a refective mic, and Rode would not take it back since it was bought through Bestbuy's creator's pack. Each time, I am losing money & time, by the way, with the squad protection. They couldn't find orders that were submitted online in the store for the correct price. It was a MESS. I bought a new one. This time it was not the creative studio, just the Canon M50. My Mac would not recognize the M50 regardless of any recommended cords used. I scheduled the appointment, and they weren't prepared. They didn't even have a proper cord to test it. They sent it in to be checked, couldn't find an issue. I had to return it because it wasn't usable for what I needed it for. Geek Squad protection is not refundable, and they did NOTHING.

I am never sure if an extended warranty is worth the money but with certain items like an expensive camera, I am not willing to risk it.

I have used geek squad protection on the past and it was wonderful when a new item stopped working. It provides security for expensive new products. For me, two years is a good timeframe, not needed after that. Or you can renew at the end of the two year period.

I will update this once I get to use this service.

Would have been better if manager had been willing to work with me on yhe main purchase.

I have used my geek squad protection for an item in the past that was damaged early on, it was simply replaced due to this coverage. For expensive purchases, the security protection is worth it and makes me feel more comfortable in the beginning.

I have used this once in the past and worked out amazing this time around I never had to use it so it was kind of worthless but there is that chance………

I should have used it to obtain an additional battery for my Sony A6400 since they are so expensive but I can't fully comment on anything else because I had no issues within the 1 year.
