I have not had to use this protection for my recently purchased camera yet, but I do want to say I appreciate the services rendered from Geek Squad in Woodbridge, VA. They have helped tremendously with fixing my laptop. I have no worries that if I have a problem, they will be able to support the need.

Buying a protection plan is always a Peace of mind, you never know can happen special for any product that cost more than few hundreds

Would highly recommend if you are going to take your camera any where outside, we use ours while hiking and fully expecting to use this insurance policy.

I previously dropped the a6300 out of my camera bag and did not have the Geek Squad warranty. Fortunately Sony repaired the camera at no charge. However, I purchased the warranty for added protection on the a6500.

I bought this as protection for my camera which included cleaning. I sent it away only to receive it back with spots still on my photos. I had to send it back a second time and there was miscommunication with how long it would take for me to get my camera back as an issue had to be escalated. I was quite frustrated as I missed out on using the camera during a trip overseas and struggled trying to get my point across to the people I was speaking to on the phone about the issues that I was having. It was resolved and I'm happy that I bought it but I think there's quite a bit of room for improvement with the Service and how they support you with it.
