This is well worth the extra money. They always take excellent care of me. I have had to use this protection plan twice to replace my son's switch and many joycons.

I had to use this because I dropped my switch and broke the controller and they helped me the same day get a new one! So helpful!

Always get a protection plan for switch because my daughters broke my roommate got her and i constantly was getting stuff for it. They ate great and handle things anytime ive had issues

Being risk adverse, insurance is always good. Love the Geek squad. No issues with service, agents are knowledgeable even the 1st line which is unusual in most customer service items. Actually, Geek Squad is one of the reasons, purchases are made at BBY instead of AMZN.

Geek squad was acquired for a Nintendo Switch - as noted in that posting; the gaming system hasn't seen the light of day yet because the "holiday" hasn't arrived as of this writing. But, I feel comfortable knowing that I have geek squad in the event of product failure.

Have not used it on this purchase but my laptop worked like new when I got it back

I have been buying from Best Buy for over 25yrs. I have never gone wrong with buying one of their Geek Squad Protection plans. I pray it's never needed but when it has been, they come through and take care of the customer and the component. I always recommend to my friends.

Had to wait a week to receive my unit but very pleased that I was able to get this special edition. Worth the wait the same new generation with a better look! Let’s see how this battery life goes.

I always prefer to get protection plan for any electronics I buy from Best Buy. Geek squad is my favorite. It was little easier before as whenever I had problem with my item I took that to the store and right way they reimburse me with my replacement plan and I got new item. Now we have to wait for the item to send to fix if they can’t fix it then they replace it even if we have a replacement plan. But anyway I still like to buy geek squad for all of my purchases as it is peace of mind.

I had gotten a Nintendo but for a while the controls were not working so geek squad trade it for a new Nintendo which was cool !!

It's nice knowing that if anything goes wrong with my TV I will be able to bring it in and have it taken care of. Dropping that much money on a TV can be scary so I don't mind spending a little more to make sure I don't get screwed if anything goes wrong!

I personally never use geek squad but I haven’t heard much for bad things about them and air walking you some help sometime even if it’s simple question you need to ask they have been always helpful for me

You should always buy the replacement plan. It’s completely hassle-free & worry-free. Most importantly it’s at a reasonable price. Plus, you can even buy it a couple of weeks after you make your purchase on your merchandise. This is a No-Brainer…

Diagnosed Nintendo Switch problem in store, crashed no fix. Complete replacement for lastest Switch. Fantastic customer service, and knowledge. Very pleased. Hope they keep that standard.

I purchase all my electronics at Best Buy and add the Geek Squad service. It has paid for itself for other products that I have purchased in the past.

I love knowing that my purchase is protected- my son has dropped his original Switch several times and so we purchased this product protection to be safe!
